The cottage was lovely had everything you could need, the outdoor space was also lovely and had everything you would need for a warm summers night, I would highly recommend the cottage
Six adults, staying 4 nights.
We'd stayed here before, about 4 years ago, so no surprises, and we wouldn't have returned if we hadn't had a good experience.
We'd certainly go again!
Loved the cottage. The open living area was great for a group of friends/family to enjoy time together. The garden area was also really good. Very nice quality garden furniture in a private peaceful setting. The area is great for exploring the island. The local pub was very friendly and reasonable prices for drinks too. There were a few cobwebs but itâs an old property and it was spider season! Would recommend.
We had a lovely week at this property. The outdoor space was amazing and everything inside was well equipped. We did have a ninth member of our party who we had paid an extra ÂŁ140 for- the sofa bed had a very poor quality mattress, we needed to provide our own bedding and towel for them and then there was not a ninth chair for them at the table. Lovely property- but definitely for 8 not 8+2.
Had a lovely stay in water mill cottage ,lovely cottage great location ,had everything we needed and more, nice pub just up the road ,would definitely stay again .it did help that the weather was gorgeous 10/10 top marks
We had a lovely time in this very nice cottage. The open plan lounge/kitchen was perfect for a group of friends. The setting on the edge of the village overlooking fields was also lovely, we even sat outside and enjoyed a glass of wine on a sunny day in October. I would highly recommend this cottage it was perfect for a weekend getaway.
This property was exactly what we were looking for as a home base to relax with family and enjoy the surrounding area. The location is central to to explore Anglesey and the gardens in front and behind the house are lush and gorgeous. We enjoyed the views and lovely sunsets most evenings. The setting is quiet and peaceful. The home is well equiped with a spacious open kitchen overlooking the front room. The home has a modern and updated feel to it. The bedrooms were comfortable and on site bathrooms perfect for separate families occuping the space. Our communication with the owner was easy and very pleasant. Overall our stay to Angelsey was absolutely wonderful and this home was certainly a large piece of what made it great. Thank you! And the horse who lives in the field across was a absolute delight to watch.
We were supposed to stay in April 2020 but unable because of lockdown. 2021 stay also cancelled. Finally managed it in 2022! Well worth the wait. A lovely cosy property with plenty of room for 6 adults. We followed the sun around the garden lots of places to sit and relax. Quiet area with countryside views and a very friendly horse in the field in front of the property. Have never stayed in Anglesey before and this was the perfect place to stay and explore the island. Would definitely recommend and return.
We had a fab time at Watermill Cottage.
Lovely and spacious, great facilities, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and very cosyâŠ.a real home from home.
Only downside was poor wifi, but suspect this is a village thing, rather than cottage specific and hey, we were on holiday, so doesnât really matter!
The cottage was realy nice furnishings were very comfortable inside and out ,the patio was a sun trap đ we had a lovely break much needed ,I would fully recommend this cottage book it and enjoy .Parkinson &Noonan family.
Great choice of location as it is a short drive to so many places⊠beaches, restaurants, shops etc. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped, lots of space and worked well for a 2 week break away from it all. Only slight downside was it wasnât quite as spotlessly clean as previous reviews have said it was, but nothing that would put me off booking again in the future. Alison was very helpful and responsive, a great host. Definitely would recommend.
We had a lovely stay at the cottage over the Christmas period. A Christmas tree had been set up for us ahead of our arrival so it felt festive as soon as we got in. The house was cosy and clean, with all the amenities in good working order. Thr central location was perfect to discover Anglesey. Alison was very helpful and we definitely plan to come back to experience the cottage in different seasons as it must also be stunning in the summer.
Nice place to relax and catch up with old friends, large seating and dining area made for a comfortable stay. Bed spaces easily accommodated our group of seven. Perfect location for exploring the island with easy access to to the A55.
We found the cottage quite easily and liked to look of it immediately. We had a few minor issues but they were resolved quite quickly. Caroline was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and loved Anglesey. The local pub is not to be recommended though as we had a bad experience there. Thanks for giving us a lovely base for our holiday
