clean and well situated

We were wanting a clean room close to the station and ferry services and this fitted the bill well though the room was basic- the decor quite stark. It was fine for a one night stay but defintely not for a luxury weekend.

Go for it.

The staff were ever so helpful and would be a good example, for staff at another hotel we stayed at, to follow. Everything was made so easy whereas in the other hotel chain the staff were so pushy that one felt as if you were not there to take a rest at all! The location of Holyhead Travelodge is convenient, too. In fact, all of the locals we met were generous with their time and went out of their way to help us.

Cheap and cheerful

This is just like any other Travel Lodge. It has clean sheets, clean towels, hot water, T.V., totally no frills, but cheap, which is what we needed for an overnight stay before taking the ferry to Dublin. Basically, it does what it says on the tin. The staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant. Warning - there is really nowhere at all to eat in Holyhead - it is really, really dire! A fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway, and MacDonalds will be your choice. If you drive to Morison's there is a cafe, but it wasn't really very good either.
