We rented both homes. The A frame was nicely stocked and remodeled. The main house was a little more run down and didn’t have as many options in the kitchen. The twin beds were on wheels and rolled in the night. My daughters had to shove their bags under the beds to keep them from rolling when they slept. The codes they gave us to the front door in the A Frame was wrong multiple times. We reached out for assistance via text and were told our issue would be escalated and nobody got back to us for 2 days and not until I sent a a message through the app. The trash bins were filled by prior renters and didn't get emptied until 2 days later even though is says we can ask for them to be emptied. That was part of several text messages I sent that were not replied too. If they are not going to respond to text messages then don’t offer it as an option for support. For the amount we paid I was very disappointed in the service. We have been renting houses in Tahoe every summer for 18 years and this was the worst experience. I am not impressed with Avant Stay and would likely avoid renting a property managed by them in the future.
