The Space:

Ocean light shifts across the lanai in the early morning as the Pacific stretches out beyond the rooftops and the Ko'olau ridgeline anchors the horizon behind you. High above the streets of Waikiki, the pace slows just enough to remind you you're on an island - close to everything, yet lifted above the noise. One block from the sand, with ocean breezes finding their way through the space, this is a Honolulu base that earns its place.



The condo

This entire high-floor condo at Waikiki Banyan Tower 1 offers ocean, sea, mountain, and city skyline views from both the private balcony and the bedroom. The building is accessible by elevator, and free parking garage on premises is included for one vehicle. A coffee shop and convenience store are located on the ground floor, making everyday errands effortless.



Living space

The living area is arranged for ease - a sectional sleeper sofa, a 50" TV with standard cable, fast wifi (verified at 213 Mbps via speed test, with Ethernet connection also available), and a window AC unit and ceiling fan to keep things comfortable. It's a space that works as well for a quiet evening in as it does for a quick refresh before heading back out.



Sleeping arrangements

The bedroom is separated from the living area by a sliding panel door, giving your group a private retreat when you need it. Inside, you'll find a queen-size bed and a full-size bed, outfitted with cotton linens, extra pillows and blankets, and room-darkening shades for restful mornings. A closet and dresser provide clothing storage. The sectional sofa bed in the living area accommodates the full group of up to four guests.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to a full sit-down meal. Appliances include a Samsung refrigerator with freezer, Kenmore stainless steel electric stove, Samsung stainless steel single oven, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, hot water kettle, toaster, blender, and rice maker. Cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, and a baking sheet are all on hand. A dining table rounds out the space for meals at home.

Great stay for 5 nights! Clean and the ocean views with the sunset was beautiful. We made use of the beach chairs they provided as well. We had everything we needed in the kitchen although a wooden spatula would have been better than the plastic ones they had. We slept well during our stay. The only thing that happened was the water turned off for 5 hours but they let us know ahead of time and they refunded a good amount of the overall cost which was great. Highly recommend staying here, location was convenient to everything!
