We booked our reservation back in February, and I specifically got a hold of someone who works at Castle to find out if this unit had a king-sized bed, and the reply was that yes, it did. We needed a big bed for me and my husband because he has a bad arm and needs to keep it s flat on the bed. When we confronted the front desk guy, he said that the company doesnât guarantee its bed size. We assumed he was looking on his computer to see if he could find us another room but he didnât even look at us or apologize. He then said there might be a 2 BR, 2 bath available the next day and asked if we would get it for the same price since it was your mistake and he laughed me and said no. I get itâŠI know how expensive those rooms are but I planned this so far in advance to make sure things were perfect and it didnât start out well at all. Nothing was ever done about it and the room itself was fineâŠweâre not fancy people but we basically were paying for the view which was amazing.
Then, we went to do laundryâŠwe know the machines are small but the dryer never once completely dried a load, even after running it 3 or times. We had to hang everything to dry.
Once we realized this was just the way it was going to be as far as the dryer and the bed and once we stopped complaining, the people in the office were much friendlier. Thereâs an Asian girl who works there that was really helpful when I asked if she happened to have a box so we could ship something home.
