Great service! Clean rooms and a lot calmer than Moana Surfrider. Access to uncrowded beaches and MonkeyPod was easily accessible! Will be back.

We recently stayed here for a week and overall enjoyed many aspects of the hotel. The location is fantastic—right on the beach and close to shops and cafés. The gym is excellent, with more machines than most hotels, and the refillable water bottles and fountains are a great touch. Housekeeping was friendly and the team arranged connecting rooms for our family, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, there were a few disappointments. Although the official check-in time is 3:00 pm, we arrived on an early flight and reached the hotel around 11:00 am. While I understand that early check-in isn’t guaranteed, I had hoped for more effort to prioritise cleaning, as other hotels often try to do. Our room wasn’t ready until 2:57 pm, leaving us waiting in the lobby for nearly four hours without Wi-Fi access (since a room number is required to log in). We went to the Starbucks next door just to use the internet, which felt unnecessarily restrictive. We joined a bracelet-making activity that became uncomfortable. The instructor was late, spent part of the session on a personal phone call, made negative remarks about guests, and abruptly left after about fifteen minutes. Management was understanding and apologetic and even offered a future upgrade, but it was a disappointing way to end our stay. Despite these issues, we genuinely enjoyed the stay, but with better guest communication and activity staffing, this hotel could deliver an exceptional experience.

‘+Rooms were newly renovated and modern, wooden , open enterance was really welcoming…staff was very friendly. We received discounts from other Outrigger hotels. Monkeypod restaurant has a delicious menu,right on the coast, but unfortunately not enough capacity for rush dinner hours (one time we waited 1hr) ‘-garbage truck woke us up every other night, AC was loud and blowing onto bed directly, pool receives limited sun throughout the day, it is hard to lay down on the very small beach in front of the hotel (you have to walk 100mt to the next hotel beach)

This is my second time at this resort since before COVID. I loved it then and I love it now after the renovations. The staff are so cool and nice. Front desk gave me a complimentary Honolulu Cookies gift tin for my bday! I also requested my room to be upgraded from partial ocean to full ocean for an additional $150. To my surprise, the hotel actually upgraded me to a suite!! I got a huge room with a nice big balcony facing the beautiful ocean. Valet was also very nice. This hotel has lots of social time at night with live music and a restaurant/bar. There is also an ABC store in the hotel lobby.

What an amazing stay. The Outrigger Reef was a top notch property to kick off our vacation in Hawaii. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. Specifically Angela was great at check-in and Frank at the club was energetic and helpful with tips/tricks. Treat yourself to a club room and specifically oceanfront. WOW - I could see turtles every day from my balcony just swimming in the ocean. Now that is what vacation should feel like. The VIP Access amenity was amazing - I got continental breakfast daily, which I could redeem in their fabulous restaurant, Monkeypod. The club access was helpful for a quick bite or snacks. I met so many other travelers that had been at this hotel multiple times - that means something. Thank you for an amazing vacation.

Hotel was in a great location near shops and restaurants. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were pleasant . I would stay here again should I get the chance to return to Wakiki.

Good place to stay. The only one thing don’t like us was the vallet parking fee per day, if you plan to rent a car take note because they force you to pay $60 Dlls per day for the vallet parking and is the only option to park you rent car if you are staying in this hotel.
