Location. Location. Location. This place was perfect! Located in the historic Ilaki Hotel, next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, easy walk throughout Waikiki, and the view from the balcony is absolutely amazing! This cozy condo had all the necessities, including beach towels and toys. Nearby ABC stores carried some essential food and beverages, and either a walk or short cab ride would get you to a larger grocery store for more food selections. However, I do need to express my disappointment that the shower was inoperable during the entire time of my stay with my two adult daughters (5 nights/6 days). We really appreciated the housecleaner/maintenance person’s quick response, unfortunately, even though she came twice, snaked all the drains and used plenty of Draino, the shower continued to not drain and back up even - even when not in use. My one daughter took a quick 2-minute shower the first day and then we were unable to use it again.Sorry, a daily sponge bath just doesn’t cut for more than a day or two. I had reached out to the owner to let them know of the issues. Their only response is that they have fixed the issue and have not had any problems. I sincerely hope this is true however, for us, it did leave a mar on an otherwise perfect getaway with my daughters.
