All was as advertised except for elevator not being available for my elderly mother to get to second floor. This was not manager’s/owner’s fault, but I was not notified until already on flight to the area and then was told I could cancel and figure out another accommodation for myself at that late date. Since I only travel with my phone, scanning through options was difficult, so with less than 24 hours until I needed to walk in the door, I decided to take what I had rented and figure out how mom was going to negotiate 40 stairs up and 40 stairs down at least twice a day. Hilda on the Vacasa help line tried really hard to help and I appreciate her a great deal.
The condo was lovely. The view was advertised and we had more than enough dishes and towels. Bring your own coffee and sugar which is to be expected. Coffee pot was good. The access number was ten digits long which was unusual and the lock mechanism was reluctant to accept the correct number until the third time input, so it took a lot of patience to get the door unlocked each time. But I knew that no one else was going to be able to guess the number and felt secure.
