I was expecting a lot better from them, ac problems since we got there , master AC never work, WiFi itâs really bad , the range has issues too , grill itâs really bad condition, ican go over and over but itâs just a lot of issues with the property
We have stayed at many VRBO's, typically stay with a Premier host, and as a result have come to expect certain things from a Premier Host property. This is not meant to be a complaint but rather full disclosure for those considering renting here for their next trip. The property DOES NOT have:- Closets for clothes- A dishwasher or garbage disposal- A TV in the bedroom- Outside deck lighting of any sort- Any grass if you are considering bringing a fur babyOverall the stay was good and restful.
We enjoyed our weekend getaway at Liamâs Lodge. We understand itâs going through some renovations currently, although we werenât aware of this at the time of booking, but it was great nonetheless. A cold front came through this weekend and the temps dropped with a good bit of rainy weather for 2 of the 3 days there. Had it been warmer like it was when we left, it was a perfect spot to enjoy it he outdoors on the deck and boat dock. The fire pit and grill were a great feature! The spacious bedroom was great and the bed was super comfy. The openness was nice for us as a couple, but the double pocket doors made it easy to close off for privacy if you have others. Waking up to that gorgeous lake view was the absolute best and an added surprise of the geese landing on the roof/deck made our morning. The location is great, amenities close by and just a short drive into downtown or out to the state park. and the heating could have been way better. Having a washer and dryer was an added bonus. With the dropped temps, the bathroom stayed very cold unless the portable heater was plugged in. The hot water wasnât the best to fill up the tub, but hopefully those are things that theyâre in the process of fixing. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit!
We came in from Kansas City on Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving with Family. The cabin as my kids called it, was cozy. The beds were extra comfortable and everyone slept great. Lots of blankets and we were so glad because we were freezing. The firepit and deck were fun and relaxing with family.
Michael was responsive within an hour when I had a question.
There were just a couple things that werenât clean when we showed up. I cleaned them with supplies we brought. I was glad we brought trash bags and cleaner since there wasnât any. The only downside we had was the water pressure. The water got super hot but it took forever to fill the jet tub.
Overall we had fun and enjoyed the get away.
This cabin is so cute, the decorations are rustic and fit the lake house vibe. The deck is wonderful, we tied our floats to the deck and hung out in the water everyday. The huge windows facing the lake allow a beautiful view, loved waking up to the lake! I wish we had brought kayaks because it was an excellent location for kayaking. We had plenty of towels, including swim towels which was a pleasant surprise. There was every cooking dish and utensil we needed. The living room heated up during the day but that is to be expected with the large windows. Thankfully they had signs to help guide you to the house because Google maps had us stop a few houses early. We would definitely stay again!
The house was very nice and exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed dinner on the deck out back with the fire pit going. The grill would not light up using the push button igniter. Recommend bringing a long lighter to ignite the grill if planning on using it for cooking. We did not have one but a quick trip to Wal Mart minutes down the road solved that issue. We enjoyed fishing off the deck/dock. Wish we had brought a canoe or some kayaks because you could set sail right from the back. Overall great experience and our family really enjoyed the stay!
