I deeply regret staying at the Camelot Hotel, and I can confidently say it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences Iâve ever had. The positive reviews I read must have been written by people with a completely different definition of cleanlinessâor a very high tolerance for unclean.
The bed sheets were not only old but outright dirty, with visible stains that made me question if theyâd been changed at all. The bathroom? I wouldnât touch most surfaces without feeling the urge to sanitize afterward. The room had an overall neglected and unhygienic vibe that made me feel like I was intruding somewhere no one cared for, despite paying to stay there.
We live in 2024 and it is not hardâor expensiveâto provide clean sheets and a reasonably sanitary room. I come from Europe, where I can distinguish between something being old and something being dirty. Old is forgivable; dirty is an insult to paying customers.
