The room was fine. Clean, comfy beds, air conditioner worked well. There was a large roach in the hallway walking to our room. The hotel is in a slightly questionable area and there were some sketchy people around. We had to park our car through a gate that was lit but was a bit scary to walk because of the surrounding area.

The room is spacious and the location is exceptional if you need to do something on the downtown area. The staff was friendly and the process of checking in and out was fast. Definitely will recommend and for sure if I’m back in Houston, I will be staying there.

Hotel always clean and fresh smelling I love the aesthetics. BUT I wish you all didn’t remove the clouds in the room it bought the rest of the color in the room and decor! That’s what made yall different from the rest of the hotels. I do feel that you all should steam the carpets and furniture to remove the stains from the chair and ottoman

A roach crawled on me while I was sleeping!!! I woke up to the sensation of something moving on me, turned on the light, and saw a roach on the bed. I got dressed immediately and went to the front desk at 3 AM, half-asleep and shaken to report it. The receptionist, Patrick, was completely unfazed. His reaction was so nonchalant it felt like this was something that “just happens all the time.” There was no urgency, no concern, no offer to inspect the room, no attempt to relocate me, and no reassurance that anything would be done. All he said was, “I’m sorry that happened, hope you have a nice night.” I told him the roach was still in the room. He still refused to step out from behind the desk. He just looked at me. At that point I told him I couldn’t stay there and would find another hotel. When I called Expedia to transfer my booking, they contacted the front desk. Patrick told them that yes, I complained about a roach but that I “just walked out,” and that after I left he supposedly checked the room and saw nothing, so no refund or credit transfer. That is a complete lie. He never offered to check the room when I was standing right in front of him asking him to. And I would love to know how long he actually spent “looking” for the roach afterward. When I called back with Expedia on the line, he changed his story multiple times. There was zero accountability, zero honesty, and zero professionalism. I truly hope management reviews the cameras and listens to our interaction
