Stay was okay.

We have stayed at nicer Hampton Inns and this one wasn’t as nice. It was still okay for our family, but did look older and smaller. The back door wouldn’t open with the key card. Breakfast was okay; typical hotel continental breakfast.

The bathroom door was extremely noisy when opening. The side door leading outside did not properly lock. A rock had to be used to prop door open!!!!!!!

Front desk clerk was nice easy checking in pool area was very loud which is understandable trying to work out kids from the pool. Parents was not watching them. They were in and out of there playing on the machines. But overall, it was a nice stay.

Why the tiny pillows???

First off, most things we complained about were fixed, however we had to complain. First room they placed us in smelled so strongly of paint or sealer fumes it was intolerable. They moved us right away but I don’t know how that room was rentable, given the air quality. The second room had no hot water in the shower and the toilet had a poor seal so it ran a lot. They did fix the shower. I found the pillows so cheaply inadequate! They literally had pillows the size of sofa accessory pillows. Two didn’t equal one in length or volume. We asked for more and they said they didn’t have any regular sized ones. That seemed like an unnecessary cost cutting move because it made it really uncomfortable. We only slept there two nights but we started referring to it as “Hampton Inn Lite” because it sis not seem the equivalent to the Hamptons we were used to.

We stay at this property often. Never have a problem. However, we did have to change rooms because the first room smelled bad and the toilet did not work. Everyone was very helpful and wanted to make a stay comfortable.
