Walking distance to basketball arena, room smelled like someone smoked, a/c was excellent, not a quite place to lay your head. Venue a block away stays open until 2am and the music is very loud. But I can sleep through anything so it didn’t bother me. Bed was very comfy. Staff was nice.

Stay was ok.

The hotel is in a great location. The room i stayed in was a suite and it was excellent in size. Beds comfortable. Breakfast had good options and variety Pool was cloudy and the hot tub was dirty and cold. Hotel needs updated. Bathroom door was falling off, hallways didnt smell that great.

Overnight visit with family to see Houston Rockets. Excellent location, Toyota center was literally just across the street from hotel. Had we known, we would’ve not paid for parking at Tundra Garage.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!

This hotel was absolutely AWFUL!!! The moment we pulled in the parking lot & saw the caution tape blocking the driveway to the door, I was worried. I had to park my truck next to a giant storage container in the back. When we made it inside, it was hot in the lobby and the incense smell was very strong. The elevator was filthy, the hallway to our room had bubbled up carpet that was torn in multiple places, and ceiling tiles that were broken and just dirty. Our room was ok for the most part, but the toilet seat was cracked and the shower floor tiles were in desperate need of replacement. When we went back outside to unload the rest of our things, we saw that the back door had a sign that stated “keycard needed for entry” did NOT need a keycard because you could just pull it right open. Breakfast was good but the staff was rude. When we were leaving for our first game, I spoke to housekeeping and exchanged our dirty towels for fresh ones and let them know we did not need anything else. I placed the do not disturb sign on the door as we left because I do not like anyone going in my room while I’m away. When I returned a few hours later, I walked in to see a rollaway bed in my room. The front desk could not explain why it was there. If we could have canceled this stay, we would have! Holiday Inn should be ASHAMED to have their name on this building. Very disappointing. We return to Houston in May and I had booked here, but canceled that stay as soon as we walked in our room!!!!!!

Bathrooms were old and run-down in appearance. We had to switch rooms after the first night there because the room next door was having a loud party with 6-7 men and loud music past 10:30pm. Called front desk twice to request assistance; the 2nd time, security came upstairs and told the room of men who the complainants were and gave them my room number. Due to them being drunk and outnumbering my family and I, we had to switch rooms at 11pm. Old, run down property and rooms, the second room we stayed in didnt have hot water at the sink, and subpar security/night desk assistance.
