Beautiful home- perfect location!

We had a perfect week at this home located in a quiet cove just off the main part of the lake. We had grandparents and teens- all comfortable with their own spaces to enjoy. The house is renovated and well maintained. We also enjoyed long walks outside in and out of nearby neighborhoods with views of the lake. The home was well equipped with everything we needed and markets were close by for trips to the store.

Lakeside Luxury

Our family loved our stay at this house. It needs a name so I’m calling it Lakeside Luxury. It had everything our family needed and then some. We could walk right into the lake from the boat launch. We built a fire for S’mores, used the kayaks, fished off the bulkhead, played pool and grilled out almost every night. I highly recommend this huge home with easy access to everything we needed at SML.

Great experience

In town for Liberty University graduation. House was perfect for our weekend getaway. Owners were great communicators and everything they prepped us for in the what to expect guide was spot on. Any issues we had were addressed and resolved immediately and we would recommend this host and property to anyone wanting a great getaway.

Easter Trip

First, I will have to say the host is very responsive. Anytime I had a question, it was answered immediately. Second, the house is very beautiful, accommodating, and sits on an amazing piece of waterfront property. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Weather was beautiful, the fishing was great, and the memories made were priceless. We will definitely return toSmith Mtn, as this was our first trip, and book this house again! Thank you!!!

Amazing home that we will visit again!

My cousins and I have been planning a short getaway for years and finally got around to it. SML was centrally located. This home was everything we could have asked for. Spacious inside and out, super comfortable, amazing views, and a wonderful host. We spent a lot of time laughing and talking in the game room during rounds of pool. The outside dining spaces were great. We can’t wait to get back.

Excellent get away

We were just looking for a place for a short get away and this was perfect. Owners were very informative in their communication about things going on. House is beautiful and just what we were looking for. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a pier that we could sit out on but it did not deter from our great time!

Wedding Weekend Peace at this lovely location!

Our sons wedding at Cedar Oak Farms in Bedford made this 30 Minute commute to SML “icing on the cake”! The brides fam 3.5 hours south and we are 3.5 north so a perfect mid location, and wonderful amenities and comforts of home! Wish we had more time here to enjoy All the fun, but the kayak and peaceful location made this mom of The groom Happy! Thank you!

This is a very nice house in a great location on the lake. Boat ramp is a little tight but the state park is a very short distance. Would definitely stay there again.

Another great vacation

We love staying at this house. Great location and is perfect for our family. This is our second year staying at this house and we love it. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. Jennifer is great to work with and responds quickly. I would definitely recommend this house.

Everything is as described in the listing. The house and property are beautiful. We had four adults and five children stay, and there was plenty for the kids to have fun with in the downstairs game area. The dock was great for the boat we rented, and the kids could fish or swim off it. The host was very quick to respond to messages and a pleasure to work with. Overall lovely vacation spot that I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to SML.

Holiday weekend at the lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family and the location on the lake was great. The kids swam and kayaked the whole time. In the evening they loved the games and the pool table. It was a very peaceful and relaxing time.

I would like to thank Jennifer for an outstanding experience at her house, the house was beyond our expectations very clean very very spacious, the docks were very accessible for our 30' pontoon and jet skiis, the yard is huge I can not honestly think of a single negative thing to say about Jennifer's rental I would highly recommend her place to anyone she is also very responsive to communications

Beautiful long weekend on the lake

This home was very well appointed and has tons of room for a larger group or family. We were a little apprehensive at the 3 page pdf we received of all the the things we needed to bring and do or not do. Upon arrival though we found many of those things weren’t necessary other than linen and towels. We had a marvelous time. The property is very well maintained. The kids loved the Kayaks and the paddle board. We were a little bummed that the docs weren’t able to be used but there was tons of other things. Wildlife abounds here also for nature lovers. The yard is massive and you can play all kinds of outdoor games as well!! I don’t think you’ll go wrong booking this house on a quiet SML cove!

Visit June 17-24th

We are annual visitors to the lake and have never had such weather. It rained 4 days straight. We usually come in July or August. This is a gorgeous property with numerous areas to gather in. The owners have tried to anticipate every need. There were games, puzzles, pool table, and boy did we need them given the rain. We came to the lake with another family who stayed just around the cove and shared evening meals at each others home alternating nights. There was plenty of room to share the meals. I didn’t appreciate the need to haul all of our own linens or rent them. We were only able to use one side of a double sink and weren’t informed of that before we arrived. Over all given unforeseen things we had a good time despite the weather and planning to be outside on or in the water every day.
