Hulshorsterzand is part of the Leuvenumse bossen and is one of the few large, continuous drifting sands. You can find many rare plants and animals here, like the tawny pipit, European nightjar, antlion or small lizard. In short, this desert on the Veluwe is certainly worth a visit.
Lake Veluwe is nearby; you're more than welcome here if you want to go swimming or surfing or if you want to enjoy other sports near the water. The little ones don't need to be bored either. For example, think about the Dolfinarium, Apenheul or Walibi Holland.
