Safe, convenient, clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants and shopping. Would like the desk chair to be cleaner and the shower to have shelves at the back for my personal soaps and shampoos.

We had been in Washington DC for 5 days and had spent our final day at Monticello in Charlotesville. We were looking forward to a good night's sleep; however, someone across the hall from us had a small dog that yapped constantly. We should have called the management, we did not , We weren't aware that guests were allowed dogs in a room (??).

Easy highway access, some local shopping (mall) and restaurants nearby. Oddly located behind a gas station and some stores, Cracker Barrel right nextdoor. Lots of construction crews stay here, so early breakfast is quite busy.

Mostly good. Exceptions-My friend and I were told at check in that we could each pay for a night (split cost 50/50) at checkout. But the reserving card had already been used and charged when we went to drop key card and pay. Also, the coffee in the rooms and in lobby doesn’t have a good taste. Beds were very comfortable! Room was clean! Staff was friendly.
