This hotel is part of the Fosshotel chain in Iceland. The hotel was clean and provided all the necessary amenities. There are plenty of parking. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. and breakfast was good. We didn't dine at the hotel's restaurant as we preferred the menu at Naustid which is located five minutes walk from the hotel.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms, and very limited ability to open the windows. It got stuffy as the temperatures rose in the afternoon. No fans in the rooms, either. Very nice hotel, but the lack of any temperature control in the summer months - their high season - was disappointing. Showers were also quite small. But roomy and had a nice desk.

Room was stifling hot upon entry and window only opened an inch. Needed to obtain a fan from desk. Reception was kind though.
