The rooms were clean and for a small footprint excellent use of space. Loved the decor and our view with a balcony was excellent. The staff was so accommodating and courteous. Superb customer service. You can't beat the location of this hotel and saving the best for last...the breakfast was above and beyond, amazing choices and excellent quality.

This hotel and its location in Hvar feel like a perfect blend of the Amalfi Coast and Bellagio on Lake Como. It’s a well-kept secret on the Croatian coast—stunning, serene, and unforgettable. Everything was wonderful—from the elegant hotel itself to the ideal proximity to charming restaurants, bars, and the walkable marina for day trips. But truthfully, once you arrive, you won’t want to leave. This resort is a true gem… and I suppose the secret is officially out after sharing this!

They messed up our reservations and gave us keys to a room that was already occupied. Then put us in a small room that didn’t have functioning AC. We have had better stays.

Hotel was modern and in good conditions, just in front of the beach. My only complaint was when I left the hotel, I had a voucher to redeem for a 20% for one day of my stay, and the reception had not allowed me to use it because they said the voucher was supposed to be used at the bar at the swimming pool. Other than that, the service & breakfast was excellent.

Wonderful place

We had an amazing stay at Amfora Hotel in Hvar! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the center but peaceful enough to relax. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, especially overlooking the pool and the sea. The infinity pool area is beautiful and spacious, with great service and plenty of loungers. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of fresh options. Our room was clean, modern, and very comfortable with a balcony view that made every morning feel like a dream. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Perfect for couples and families alike—highly recommended if you’re visiting Hvar!

Rooms are small for the price. The First night house keeping came at 5:30pm and I had to leave my room. The following morning it was at 9am. When I left on my final day they were cleaning my room and I was at breakfast and I was not even checked out. Reception staff wasn’t the most friendly and when they apologized it was fake and staring at a screen and not sincere. Mid hotel.

This Amphora has something for everyone. The lobby and balconies are nice, with great views of the sea. The rooms are pretty standard, but the outdoor complex steals the show. The pool rambles on, with lots of lounge chairs, private and more public areas, and a water slide for kids. The staff and maintenance crew are exceptional . If I have to complain, I would say the elevator system and room numbering is confusing. I would book this hotel again.

Great beach and pool, good breakfast included, very nice service to bring the luggage to and from the ferry! Only a 10 minute walk to old town, but be prepared for stairs. Towels were very think and I expected more based on price of hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again, although it was one of our more expensive stays in Croatia.
