We loooved our time in this beautiful location and property. Incredible views, a very private/quiet location, and the home itself is just magic. We really enjoyed the deck, and had morning coffee watching the sunrise, and dinner watching the sunset (there were lots of birds because of the feeders and habitat focused/very large garden â we even saw a bobcat!). The wrap around fence was perfect for our pup who loved to explore the front yard all day. My husband loved the sauna, and I used the claw tooth bathtub a few times. The kitchen was VERY well stocked (like shockingly so for an rental property) and we really enjoyed cooking our meals while looking at the surrounding nature. This was a very special quiet VRBO, and we were very sad to leave!
A few things to note â for some reason, the home alarm went off when we arrived and we had to wait for 20 minutes for the manager to arrive to disarm it (they were deeply apologetic, and came very quickly). However, the police officer who showed up two hours later to check on the situation said it happens all the time at this house. I donât know if this is true, and also this isnât a ding, more something to be aware of. Also, the dishwasher was broken, and the art hut wasnât accessible. (It was locked and none of the keys worked to let us in). And the check in process was a bit intense compared to anything weâve ever experienced. We needed to fill out paperwork in advance, and check in during specific hours at an office in Idyllwild. Again, not a ding, just something to note.
All in all, truly one of our favorite stays of all time. 5 starts across the board. We didnât want to leave!
