We spent a fantastic week in this gorgeous villa offering extraordinary views on the tuscan hills.
The villa is stunning, centuries old yet modernized, with very spacious and nicely decorated bedrooms as well as large living spaces. The pool area is beautiful.
It is very well located to visit Florence, the Chianti region and other places of interest in Tuscany.
Bianca our host has been extremely welcoming, always available to assist us on any topic.
We are looking forward to coming back soon, and definitely recommend this place: you will not regret the experience!
My extended family stayed for a week while celebrating our nieceâs wedding, and it was the perfect home base. Bianca greeted us with her motherâs homemade apple pie, fresh pesto, and a tour of their beautiful historic home. The villa is thoughtfully equipped with every modern convenience while still preserving its timeless charmâyou truly feel transported to another era. There were 11 of us, and we enjoyed cooking dinner together several nights in the well-stocked kitchen, as well as hiring one of the recommended chefs for a special evening meal. The location couldnât be better, with easy access to local grocery stores, the town of Impruneta, and Florence. We couldnât have asked for a more welcoming host or a more memorable experience. Highly recommend!
We had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Le Colline - excellent location (beautiful countryside views with easy access to Florence as well as Sienna, Lucca and other towns), well-stocked kitchen, good wifi throughout, very clean pool, modern bathrooms, and overall a spacious and tastefully maintained property. Bianca the host was very gracious and happy to help with any queries, and she provided a booklet of recommendations before we arrived that was a treasure trove of great suggestions - in particular, the chefs for home cooked meals were excellent (especially the pizza-making evening using the villaâs outdoor pizza oven), and the restaurants we tried were all top notch. We also did a Tuscany Trotter tour of Florence with Emilia and she had many interesting stories about the history and culture of Florence. This was a memorable family vacation and weâd highly recommend Villa Le Colline.
Our family stayed two weeks at the villa which gave us plenty of time to explore Florence and all of Tuscany. The villa is exceptional! From the large bedrooms with air conditioning and screens on all the windows to the first floor with well equipped kitchen and cozy living rooms we couldnât have been happier. Everyone loved the large pool and deck area with loungers and cover from the sun. What truly made our experience exceptional however was how lovely and helpful our hosts and owners of the villa were. We feel in love with Bianca who catered to our every wish and was extraordinary in her desire to ensure that we were always happy. How could we not be in such a beautiful place! Even her parents welcomed us and delivered their homemade pesto and apple pie on our arrival. If your planning a rental in Tuscany you canât do better then this villa.
this is an amazing property. my guests and i were overwhelmed by it's charm, comfort, and the overall experience of staying here. we spent our wedding week with 14 of our wedding guests and it couldn't have been a more perfect 10 days. the chefs were amazing and created very special meals for us, the rooms were so clean and gorgeous with well working AC, the kitchen was our favorite hangout location. perfection of every element. not to mention the host, bianca. a rare person who prioritizes the hospitality and comfort of her guests. this experience would not have been what is was without her. the kindest person ever!!!! please stay here to have the memories of a lifetime that me and my guests will have forever.
Absolutely magical property! Weâll be coming back and Bianca was such a fantastic host: incredible communication, very detailed and valuable recommendations, answered multiple questions throughout our stay. We miss our morning espresso on the patio, watching sunrise above the Tuscan hills
We wanted to plan a family trip, 3 generations, to be together in a beautiful place and have our grandchildren experience authentic Italy. Our choice of where we stayed was very important. After looking at over 20 properties we chose this one and we all are very happy that we did! This villa has much history, and while it has been modernized with air conditioning and a first rate swimming pool, it has retained its historical charm for a real Italian experience. The scale of the house was impressive, with high ceilings and broad hallways leading to beautiful bedrooms, each with ensuite bath rooms. We were 11 people and the house provided all of us with much privacy and independence. The large kitchen was very well equipped and its big table was the center of activity every morning before we drifted out to the wisteria covered pergola for coffee and planning our day. We were in heaven! The swimming pool was first rate and a treat at the end of the day. The surrounding area was well landscaped with lighting at night, and the sitting areas were very comfortable and well shaded. The small refrigerator for drinks a great touch! Every morning when the sun was rising someone was cleaning the pool and positioning the lounge chairs for the day. How wonderful! The source of all this authentic Italian experience was the hospitality of lovely Bianca and her thoughtful family. Papa grew up here, and the family's love and respect for the property was expressed everywhere.
This is a spectacular property and the host is incredible. We were dazzled by the history of the villa. The location is perfect for spending time in Florence or heading out to enjoy the Tuscan countryside. The villa is very well-appointed with impressive attention to detail; they had everything needed to accommodate our large group for a week-long stay. The recommendations for local chefs, activities, taxi service, etc. were excellent. The host was so gracious, personable, and lovely. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind experience in Italy!
This is a beautiful villa just outside of Florence with every modern convenience. Our kind and gracious hostess, Bianca, was very quick to respond to everything we asked of her, and we departed the house a bit sadly, but with the feeling we had acquired a new friend in Italia. Brava.
This was a "bucket list" vacation for the whole family -grandparents,parents,young adults and children. The villa met all of our expectations. There was room for everyone to gather at meal times indoors and out and room to withdraw for quiet times. The pool was a welcome relief from the Tuscan summer heat (and was immaculately clean). A car is essential because the taxis and Uber are scarce. Bianca was warm and incredibly helpful and responded to texts quickly. The youngest (7years) declared the villa "perfect" and we all agreed!!
The property, the Villa and the grounds were fabulous! We stayed for 7 nights with 12 plus family members and could not asked for a more true Tuscan experience. Take advantage of the Pizza Chef, a memorable dinner as well as the custom daily breakfast which brought the family together to start the day! Do plan on ground transportation challenges getting into Florence.
Our family of eight spent twelve days at Villa Le Colline. The Villa was the perfect location from which to tour various areas of Italy. We could not have been more pleased. The home, grounds and views are much more beautiful than the pictures showed! It was a wonderful stay, and we would highly recommend this Villa for large families spending several days in the area.
Bianca was the perfect host. She communicated quickly and clearly. She was so eager to help and spend time with us as we inquired about the region. She was super helpful to help arrange transportation and give us good insight to our visit. The property is in a great loction. Close to Florence yet out in the fields of Tuscany. There were ten of us and the villa worked so well. We all would go back to the villa and Bianca.
everything about the villa is totally wonderful. perfect location, perfect grounds, perfect view, perfectly comfortable. and bianca is the dream host. i would definitelycome back!
Stunning property exactly as advertised. We spent days traveling to hill towns and nights enjoying wine at the villa. Mornings having coffee outside staring at the movie like landscape. 20 minutes to the Hill of Michelangelo that had parking and a great place to walk back to after 4 courses of pasta! 12 couples and the villa was perfect. We had a cooking class and a chef prepared meal and it was two highlights of the trip. Bianca was kind and provided all the info you need. Do it, it will be the trip of a lifetime!
Letâs start by saying this is the best vacation home I have ever stayed at. Everything about this Villa exceeded my expectations and I look forward to one day returning and spending a longer time there. The Villa was exactly as advertised if not better. The host, Bianca, was beyond accommodating and helpful with everything from planning my partyâs arrival to helping me with the events I planned on the villa grounds. This is one magical destination and I would go back in a heartbeat! Grazie Mille Bianca!!
We had a wonderful stay!
This is a beautiful and very special house. Location near Florence is great and easy to take day trips to Siena and explore many nearby wineries.
Definitely recommend a car.
Suggestions for tours, restaurants, and towns to visit were very helpful.
Bianca was a great host and very attentive to anything we needed when we were there. One day we got locked out of the guest house and she was there within minutes with an extre key.
What a wonderful property and host! We had 13 family members staying for just over a week and it was spectacular. Couldn't have been a better experience!
We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Le Colline and can highly recommend it.
The property is bigger than it looks online and has two large suites on the top floor with private sitting rooms. Every bedroom with en-suite is beautifully furnished and comfortable. My 18 month old grandson was well catered for with a cot, high chair and crockery provided .
The villa is elegant, full of character and creates a relaxed atmosphere for a family holiday. It is quiet, private and has outstanding views across the countryside. It is secure and gated.
The swimming pool is surrounded by mature olive trees. It is clean and well maintained with ample loungers, parasols, pool towels and inflatables in the pool house. Thereâs a small fridge, table and chairs in the shade by the pool.
Our host, Bianca, was warm and welcoming. She provided excellent information and support before, during and after our stay. Her house booklet and recommendations were extremely helpful. We used it to book a recommended cook for breakfasts and two excellent dinners at the villa.
It was easy to get around. We rented cars and went into Florence. We also drove to surrounding villages to shop, visit restaurants and did wine tasting.
The standard of cleaning on arrival and during our stay was immaculate. Our grocery order was in place on arrival and all of our requests were met.
Our overall experience was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We were very sad to leave. Thank you Bianca.
Villa Le Colline is a magnificent house and property dating back to the 15th century. It is well kept and appointed with 7 bedrooms, a wonderful pool and an arbored outdoor dining area which we used frequently when dining at the house. Our host, Bianca, was charming and attentive and readily available to fulfill our needs and desires and to provide recommendations. She is the best! The drive to Florence is roughly 20 minutes, 30 minutes to Greve and the Chianti region and approximately 40-45 minutes to Sienna. Villa Le Colline is well situated in the pastoral countryside of Impruneta but not too distant from the sites. All in all, a wonderful experience.
All of the five star reviews of this property are absolutely true! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Bianca and her family were so welcoming and attentive to our stay. The villa is close to Florence and other stunning cities in Tuscany. The local chefs, particularly Christina and Antonella, made amazing meals for us and we also did a cooking class. Everyone loved it!
Having waited a couple of decades for this stay to come true it ticked all the boxes. Our group of 15 friends and family had the most wonderful week. There was plenty of quiet places for those who wanted it along with plenty of space inside and out for all of us to be together. The villa its self was all you would imagine in an elegant Tuscan villa overlooking The Tuscan countryside dotted with Cypress trees. Bianca our host was brilliant. We could not have asked for more.
The saying "pictures don't do it justice" applies here. The Villa far exceeded every expectation we had.
The Villa itself is perfectly appointed with every amenity and luxury. Fully stocked, clean and well maintained while retaining all its copious historical significance. Every bedroom and bathroom are a tasteful and thoughtfully designed delight, every need met, right down to towel warmers. Linens are lovely and plentiful. The Villas kitchen is a historical treasure and a modern chefs delight with everything you could ever need. All other living areas, inside and out, are perfectly appointed, comfortable and fully functional. We were a party of 12 and rented both the Villa and guesthouse.
We loved every minute we were there and even cancelled plans one day to simply enjoy the Villa and walk the beautiful grounds. Bianca was wonderful prior, during and after our stay. So gracious and welcoming and a wealth of information. Bianca even helped make some local calls for us to arrange services. We also used many of her local recommendations for Chef, Driver, and others; each one was an incredible joy to work with.
We simply could not have loved our time at the Villa more. Each day and evening were spent in comfort, luxury and delight. We went in Nov/Dec so we didn't get to enjoy the stunning pool areas. We cannot wait to go back in the warmer months. This place is a treasure and experience you cannot afford to miss.
The villa was beautifully restored, Bianca and Andrea were very welcoming. Bianca gladly helped us with some excursions on our off days. Antonella, one of the preferred chefs was also wonderful, we have never eaten better. Would highly recommend!!
