Where to begin? The only way I could see people rating this place as a five star is if they wanted to take the bribe for rating it as such. (Yeah, they give you a box of cookies if you'll rate them a 5 star). Now the hotel's nice enough, especially for a budget hotel.It's really quite good. The breakfast is okay (it's free). I don't think they thought out the bathroom situation terribly well, regarding the shower water going everywhere. The staff were excellent and very helpful.
The biggest knock on this hotel is that you really don't want to show up after 10pm down the dark alley in which it is located lined with drunken bums in the streets all around you. It is scary. I would have to say, the scariest place i've ever stayed location wise. But during the daytime, the sketchy types are gone, and it's much quieter. We stayed for 4 days. So you get used to it, and you just make sure you're safe.
