Gut: Sauberkeit
The location was very convenient for us and the process to get in was smooth. We had attempted to contact the host the day prior about checking in a couple of hours early but never received a response. We did go ahead and get in early.The house was generally very clean, except the floor of the showers. The could use a more thorough cleaning. Beds were all comfortable, sheets, duvets, towels etc were all clean and seemed mostly new. Kitchen appliances worked well. We would have preferred a drip coffee maker but the only coffee maker was a Keurig machine, which we don't use.Lighting could be improved. The master bedroom only has a weak light in the ceiling fan that flickered constantly and the only lamp in the family room was not useful.The biggest issue we had was that smoke detectors in the master bedroom and kitchen had been removed. We found one on top of the refrigerator, assuming it had been put there because the battery may have died and the alarm may have been beeping, but that is only an assumption. Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated comfortable beds, but there were the few negatives I mentioned.
