The property itself was nice. Old plumbing meant water pressure is weak in one shower and too strong in the other. One of the mattresses was too hard, but the other was comfy. The main problem is that after I booked the property the host asked me to cancel saying the listed price was wrong, and said it was Vrbo's fault. The new price was going to be almost 3x! After doing some research, I found that she had the option to cancel it herself, but Vrbo would issue a penalty if she did. If I cancelled, there would be no penalty. I told her I was keeping the booking and that if this was truly Vrbo's fault she could take it up with them.Months later, with no other communication, it was time to get the check-in details 3 days before my stay. I messaged and she replied "I told you months ago I can't honor this booking." Keep in mind this is now only 3 days away from my stay. Vrbo customer support assured me that if I was not allowed into the property they would help rebook me and find some place to stay. Then, the day of my stay about 2 hours before the check-in time, I get a message from the host with all the details to enter the property and message ended with something to the effect of "We're happy to host you and hope you enjoy your stay!"If the host hadn't stonewalled me and lied for so long, right up until a few hours before my stay, this would have been a 5-star review. But the stress and worry over multiple days of wondering if I would have a place to sleep was too much.
This property is in a gorgeous old building. It had everything we needed and the location was perfect for a downtown visit. We walked everywhere we went. Fun weekend of city living!!
We were very excited about this property and its location as we were in Indy for the 500 for the first time. And, it did not disappoint. Absolutely perfect location.!! Walkable to everything. I would highly recommend this property.
Perfect spot for our overnight trip to Downtown Indy. Very close to all downtown activities. Cool old building. It was exactly what we were looking for.
Property was great! We loved the historic yet modern vibe. It was very clean and the host provided everything needed. The bedroom closest to the kitchen had a very firm mattress, which was a bit uncomfortable, but the other bedroom and pullout couch had comfortable mattresses. We stay two days and really enjoyed the accommodations. Highly recommend!
This property was very clean, safe and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the towels are so soft and fluffy. Parking was easy. The home had plenty of amenities from soap, shampoo, kleenex was in every room which my bad seasonal allergies were thankful for. And, there was NO housekeeping duties to do prior to checking out which is a huge win when you have a long day ahead. Thank you kind hosts.
Super convenient location to Murat Theater and Mass Ave. Apartment was very clean, cute and safe. Comfortable beds and furniture and extra blankets, pillows, towels and toiletries were provided. Would happily stay here again.
Great location, clean, well stocked, beds very extremely uncomfortable.
This property was very clean, and location was great. My husband and I and our best friends stayed just for one night and were basically there just to crash for the night. Unfortunately there was little to none of that as both beds were probably the worst we have ever slept in. The one we were in was as hard as a rock and still 2 days later it feels like we rolled around in gravel all night. Our friends said that the one they had caved in the center which made it impossible to get comfortable. Had the beds been better this place would definitely get a 5 star rating, and would have been worth the nearly $400 we payed to just stay the one night.
Beautiful home. I loved the historic look of the exposed brick.
This place had everything we needed.
The ONLY complaint was the uncomfortable mattress in each bedroom.
This property was very updated yet has historical charm. It was located only less than 5 minutes from all our downtown activities and we had our own parking space.
Glencoe is an easy walk from dining, museums, monuments and entertainmentâŠ.during our stay, we just parked the car. Inside, the residence is clean, comfortable and full of character. The interior is spacious and bright, the beds comfortable. Natalie has provided the extra touches of water in the fridge, coffee for the Keurig and even a bottle of wine as a welcome. It was a great landing spot for our weekend in Indy; Natalie was great at answering questions and offering dining adviceâŠ.
This was a great place to stay for the Indy 500. Itâs in a neat National Register of Historic Places building. Beds, bathrooms, spacious kitchen and living room. A/C works great! Comes with a reserved parking space, too. Handy location to DT Indianapolis. Highly Recommend! Thanks!
We loved this property. Stayed for a week to prepare for our daughters wedding. Had everything we needed. Within walking distance to many restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
The location was about 5-10 minutes from anywhere important downtown. The Host messaged promptly any time I had a question. The apartment was clean, well stocked, and had many amenities, down to a can opener or extra toothbrush. The only downfall is the flights of stairs. We had a lot of food and luggage to carry up so it was tedious.
