The 3rd floor unit was very clean and kept up. No issues with the unit at all. The building was clean and quiet. Originally, communication with the VRBO property manager was great. The first day we checked in, I noticed the key fob was broken but it still worked fine for the access to the building and elevator, never thought much about it. The problem started the afternoon after we checked out, when I got a message from the VRBO property manager stating we lost the key fob and then once it was found, we broke it and didnât tell her. None of this was true of course, but we were immediately charged a $100 fee for the âbrokenâ key fob. The fee was dropped 2 days later, but the communication definitely turned negative from the VRBO property manager.
The unit is great and clean, property manager not so great. You might want to treat this property like a rental car and document everything little thing including the key fob so you donât get charged for someone elseâs fault.
Awesome location. Comfortable bed and nice amenities. Has everything you need. Perfect for a weekend getaway to explore Indianapolis. Host is very responsive.
Unfortunately we never stayed here. I had to ask for check in instructions the day of the reservation at 2:30 pm. I was told that the owner would leave and clean the property at that time and would be ready at 3:50 pm. Then the address changed and suddenly parking was no longer free. I inquired about that and did not get an answer. At that point I decided to cancel the reservation, because I felt very uncomfortable going to a property I did not know anything about. I also asked for a refund. That's when the owner started being very unprofessional. She stated that the address hadn't changed, that she would refund nothing, and that she could have stayed at work. I told her I would contact VRBO instead, which I did this morning. It is obvious that the owner forgot about the reservation, since she did not leave work to clean the property until I reminded her that we were coming at 4 pm. The address changed, as VRBO confirmed, and there was no explanation why. Very disappointing especially because this owner had great reviews.
This place is wonderful! Stayed in heart of downtown Indy for the 500 long weekend and it was a few blocks walking to restaurants, bars, shops, coffee spots, etc. on Massachusetts and Monument Circle area along with Gainbridge Arena and Lucas Oil Stadium. Monique was wonderful and sweet- great communication and this apartment was beautiful, extremely clean and in a nice, quiet building and perfect location. Definitely recommend and will stay there again! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Location was a quick uber trip to the city center, and not a terrible walk either. Property manager only informed that there was no wifi on the day of arrival, which made time in the room less than desirable.
But the room is nice for all but that.
Visiting area for graduation and it was within walking distance. The place was clean and perfect for a weekend getwawy. So easy to get in and liked that it had a secure entrance to the building. Parking on street was very easy.
I was in town to run the half marathon and host welcomed me with extra water and Gatorade. The apartment was clean, secure and cozy. The location gave me easy access to most parts of the city despite the road construction in progress. Having the washer/dryer in the unit was a huge benefit as well. I hope to rebook on future trips to Indy.
I chose this property because I was in town for a concert, which was less than five minutes away. It was cheaper than a hotel stay and just as nice. Thank you!!
Nice place to stay. Apartment was very clean and efficient. It is very close to anything you would need! We had to circle around for a parking spot on the street but was able to find one. Owner, Monique, is very responsive to messages. WiFi is not available here so we had to use our own.
The room was clean, cute, and much better than a hotel. It was great to be able to easily store and heat up leftovers. The neighbors were friendly and there was plenty of parking.
The studio is a short drive to the Convention Center where we spent our time in Indy. Had the weather been nice, we likely could have walked and saved on parking, but we werenât so lucky!
The property looked to be newly renovated and was very clean. Parking was easy, the building was quiet at night. I was conducting business downtown and the location was about ten minutes away. The reviews were right on target.
Small studio apartment style. Host was very helpful and the place was very clean. Street parking threw us off a bit because we were not use to it, but nothing we couldnât overcome. Excellent and timely communication by the host.
Located on a (not too busy) one-way street with street parking. Parking not too difficult to find but, you may have to carry items up the street if you don't find a close spot. Apartment was clean and very quiet. Owner was quick to respond to any questions. Seemed to be a sage area and buildings was secured.
