Room was spacious and clean with a kitchen including a full size refrigerator and 2 burner stove. It had a couch with ottomans, but no table for 2 people to eat etc. Front desk staff was friendly and responsive. Bed was clean and comfortable, heat pump worked well.

Part of Choice Hotels but apparently they do not do rewards. Main entrance is on the south side facing the freeway but not too close. Asked for a quiet top floor room facing away from the freeway, and got one! Good basic room for work. The room has two heating rings. No breakfast, room coffee, lobby coffee, pots, pans, utensils, tissues, or USB sockets. Do yourself a favor, walk two minutes to the Sayulita Tap Room and grocery for food and coffee! Or ten minutes to other places. Connecting to Wi-Fi via my room number and name did not work; the front desk gave me a Wi-Fi code. About 10 Mbps free Wi-Fi speed. Phone in the room did not work because it was plugged into an Ethernet port. There is no do not disturb sign because rooms are cleaned every week. I saw a group of people checking into the hotel on Friday; the front desk clerk knew the company where they would work! Wish the card readers would work through my wallet. In some hotels, I can hold up my wallet to the door to unlock the room. Here, I have to take the card out of my wallet. Inconvenient if I am carrying something.

Hotel is fairly new. It lacks many common amenities. No coffee pots in rooms or lobby. Limited on soaps and shampoos. Rooms are very noisy. You can hear adjacent rooms and noise from hallway.

First, it was pitch black when I entered the room. I used my phone light to find the switch. The kitchen was barren, so worthless unless someone brought all their own stuff. The bedsheets were itchy and the bathroom towels were stained (I hope not dirty). Throughout the night, people were slamming doors and every time I moved in bed, the entire room lights would automatically turn on. I left at 1am to get better sleep in my car.
