Fantastic accommodation and perfect base for my 4 night trip for Loch Ness Marathon. Just 5 mins from Tesco and the bus into town, would definitely stay again when i come back to Inverness
We had a great stay! Merche and the owner we're great! It had just what we needed. Basic but perfect accommodations for people like us that were out exploring 90% of our stay and just wanted a good shower, clean room and comfy bed to sleep in.
Good accomodation to stay. Clean and tidy. But little bit far from center of Inverness where most of the tours/buses/trains start and the public transport is very infrequent and little unpredictable.
The Housekeeper was excellent and was always cleaning and making sure that you had everything you needed. She is certainly a little gem!
Unfortunately it was room only with having to share the bathroom and kitchen
Our stay was ok, good value for the amount paid. Only thing unexpected was that some rooms in the house are rented and people live there 24/7 therefore we saw a lot of personal items spread all along the hallways, stairway needed some vacuuming. Wifi and TV available in the room. Friendly host.
The property itself is quite nice, but our experience was overshadowed by the caretakerâs unpleasant behavior. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, she was consistently rude and dismissive. Instead of clearly explaining the house rules, she made sarcastic and condescending remarks, which made the stay uncomfortable. Itâs disappointing that such a well-presented property is managed with such poor hospitality.
I read some worrying stuff about the room, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the people who left those reviews were most likely just being silly.
The place is very well located, close to Tesco, McDonald's, Costa Cafe and a bus stop to the city centre. The room was quite nice and had a beautiful view and breeze coming in, the kitchen was awesome with lots of appliances and we could even do our laundry.
Would definitely recommend and go back, the price was fair and we had a lovely stay.
Really enjoyed my stay. Room spacious and clean, fresh bedsheets and towels. There are several bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens per building, so does feel a bit like student accommodation (which I liked). The Spanish lady is amazing and needs a promotion! NOTE that I didn't receive a code from Expedia before arrival so said Spanish lady let me in. Internet password is on router in hallway.
Self check-in was confusing until I was able to open door and find key, then it made sense. Room & shared bathroom were clean. Free WiFi was too slow for watching streamed movies. Overall a very good value for the money.
Decent location was the only positive. Accommodation was filthy and sheets had obviously not been cleaned from previous stay (hairs etc in sheets). Spent 1st night itching from (I presume) bedbugs before booking somewhere else. Shared bathroom was covered in mould.

Interesting set up
Bit of a strange set up , the house keeper was very friendly. the stairs needed hoovering and there was laundry drying . We were up very early and had to be mindful of others as the laminate flooring was very creaky. Had to park our car in the church car park which was just below the place and not outside the property. Very central and reasonably priced.
After reading some reviews wasnât sure what to expect but we were really happy with room. Large room - very clean. Was a very hot day but windows had been left open and room Was cool on arrival. Had a really comfy stay. Special mention to the housekeeper who was very helpful and friendly.
Only small negatives - extra pillows in room would be good. My hubby uses 2 but only 1 available. Plus cups and kettle are available but no tea and coffee provided.
