The location is absolutely amazing...unbelievably convenient access to the beach...and Wild Dunes resort is incredibly walkable with lots of great restaurants and activities.
The "Smart" TVs didn't work for live TV (kept freezing and going into slow motion) - which was bad timing as we were trying to watch the Super Bowl. The issue effected the YouTube TV app as well; however, Netflix and Hulu seemed to work ok. The property manager called the cable company/internet provider, who came and determined it wasn't an internet problem. It wasn't a huge deal (other than missing the Super Bowl), as we were really there for the beach anyway.
Also, the listing states there is pool access; however, it fails to mention that the pool is closed until May (and we were there in Feb). Signs on the property indicate that you should still have access to the pool area (lounge chairs and tables), but the code to the gate given to us failed to open the gate. Also not a huge deal, as apparently this particular pool is not heated, so we wouldn't have gone in, but none of this is clearly disclosed in the listing.
Lastly, we asked for a later check-out time (or to store our bags somewhere) as check-out was at 10am and the check-in time at our next place wasn't until 4pm, but the property manager did not even entertain the idea. (Note: their next guests didn't check-in until 4pm, and it's a tiny place to clean, so 6 hours is overkill.)
Overall, the place was great but the management was just ok.
