Loved our stay at this hotel, the staff is really nice and the hotel is very clean. The architecture of the building was beautiful. The rooftop has a great view of Istanbul and the food is quite tasty.

Lovely stay from start to finish! The staff at the front desk was always friendly, attentive, and helpful. We felt very welcomed. We had a corner room that was huge! Nice furnishings, although a bit worn, large windows with blackout curtains, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also huge. The shower had nice water pressure. If there had been more hooks, we would have opted to reuse our towels, but with only two small hooks, our towels did not dry overnight, so we got fresh towels daily. Housekeeping always did a great job - the room was very clean. The rooftop bar and restaurant are quite nice. The view is great and the cocktails are tasty. We did not do a proper meal up there, but enjoyed our snacks. Idris was our wonderful server who was very attentive and full of suggestions on which cocktails to try. The area around the hotel is full of dining and shopping options. It's conveniently located near public transit choices, including the Funicular! It's a hilly, but very walkable location. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were welcomed warmly with a Turkish coffee and loved the historical property. This is my 3rd trip to Istanbul in the last couple of years and this is one of my favourite neighbourhoods. There are so many great cafes, restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. With that said, on Saturday night it was crazy loud - like was loud music and people singing/being drunk on the street until 4:30am - seriously not cool and not what you’d expect (the noise and inability to sleep) in an upmarket hotel. Thank goodness the next nights were fine. Definitely ask for a high floor or room facing away from the street as its a real problem.

The property itself was so well kept, the rooms were very really clean. Me & my mum both felt safe, everyone who worked there was wonderful, from the reception, housekeeping to restaurant staff. The breakfast was lovely & fresh, everything was made as we ordered and the rooftop area had a great view of Istanbul. The location was also really good, a few minutes walk to İstiklal. Esmanur who worked at the reception was exceptionally welcoming & kind. We would definitely recommended this hotel.

Loved staying in Beyoglu for a change and the hotel staff was extraordinary. They had great tips for restaurant and activities in the area. Breakfast we good but I've had much better in Turkish hotels. The rooms are comfy but small but you don't spend very much time there. The staff are truly the strength of this hotel.
