The hostel is the best in sultanahmet, music all day and night, food is great. Staff are very nice and welcoming. Their pub is very nice and open all day and night. Many freebies with drinks, like popcorn, chips and others. Staff is great, specially Ahmet. Will return for sure.

Fabulous & friendly welcoming place

A really fabulous short stay at The Sultan Hostel. From the warm and smiling greeting from Ahmed on the desk, the cozy clean dorm and peaceful nights sleep to the lovely breakfast and coffee in the morning and the nice staff. Perfect for a single female traveller. Safe and comfortable in a vibrant area close to all the sights. My go-to place next time in Istanbul and I will defo recommend it to other travellers. This is a basic accommodation for someone only needing a place to sleep and shower, and spend most of the time in the city. It is relatively close to the tourist sites of the area, but the street to get there do not seem that well traveled. Although this is Sultanahmet, it isn't the very busy side of the neighborhood.
