Huge suites, close enough to markets and downtown Ithaca and Cornell University. The Buddhist monastery is across the road for anyone looking for an unexpected oasis of solitude and grand vistas from the terrace. The on-duty staff are welcoming and helpful, and the hotel is faultlessly appointed and clean. Highly recommended to anyone who prefers a slightly detached and more natural place to stay in the environs.

The outside presentation of the property was poor. Inside the hotel, the hallways were dirty with stains and wet spots on the carpeting. The ice machine ran constantly with a sound of running water. The hotel's pool was in need of repair and shut down during the stay. The daily breakfast looked adequate, but the dining area floors and tables were dirty so we decided that we shouldn't eat without risking health issues. The hotel room (first floor) was dark and dirty, with food remnants left on chairs. The dresser was broken with missing handles and drawers that couldn't open or close without significant effort. The bathroom had a tub with a visible dirt ring around it. We wiped it down to see if it was a stain, but it was not. Just poorly cleaned.

Dave was AWESOME, but when I spoke with the daytime front desk staff, no give way! Shut down request to check out a lil later, “NO”, immediately!!! No chance to even give reason why… I flew home because my Mom is in poor health, probably doesn’t have long to live. I KNOW I will be back soon, unfortunately. I probably won’t chose to stay with y’all…

Super helpful staff and very comfy beds. The complimentary drinks and cookies were so nice upon arrival after a long drive. Italian take-out next door was convenient for dinner. Quiet at night, and great breakfast buffet.

A constant humming (some sort of machine noise not A/C) was coming out the next room. I complained the manager and she said she will check. About 2 hours later there was no change and I made another complaint to the front desk but was told that they can not move me to another room (I am sure they had other rooms). Surprisingly they did not really attempt to address the noise issue. I realized that some hotel employees were staying in that room. The only option the hotel gave me was to cancel my reservation. I end up asking Expedia to cancel the reservation late at night and I found another hotel half an hour away. PS: I stayed in this hotel a few times before and even stayed in the same room before but never had any issues.

When we checked into a unmade, dirty room. we arrived to the resort rather late at around 7 PM. there is no reason for them to not know that this room was not cleaned. They had pretty much all day .This is very disappointing.

Friendly staff, but no pool

The front desk staff was absolutely lovely- very friendly and welcoming! The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was a lack of maid service during and the pool and hot tub were out of order, disappointing since we specifically chose a hotel with a pool to use.

I liked that there was a bedroom area separated from a "living room" area. I traveled with my daughter who stays up late while I go to bed early, and the separation helped.

A disaster!

This place was horrible. I don’t think they have ever renovated since they opened back in the 70s. Walls were filthy and not painted . Curtains were torn carpets stained just a disgusting mess! They have the nerve to charge what they did! They should be closed down!

Great service, staff is always friendly and helpful. Would be great is the parking lot could get paved, the potholes are really deep! Nevertheless, it is great value and always a pleasant stay.

I woke during night to use the bathroom and there were bugs all over tile .. I informed the front desk in the morning. They agreed to give partial refund .. however, $26 is simply not enough compensation for bathroom with swarm of crawling bugs. Manager went to observe and said ‘just ants’. The property is definitely in need of updating and repair .. but swarm of bugs is real breaker
