Emporio Ixtapa is like that relative you love to visit—but hope they’ve updated their furniture since the ‘90s. The town itself is charming, full of national vacationers enjoying the beach vibes, but the property feels a bit… vintage. Check-in was slow because our reservation didn’t include the overpriced buffet, and by the time we got to the ‘fancier’ restaurant, it had already closed. That left us with Chinese buffet night—because nothing says beach getaway like fried rice and sweet-and-sour mystery. We were a party of five (including two minors), and while the staff did their best, the overall experience felt like paying champagne prices for a soda in a can. It made us want to come back to this little-known gem of a town, but next time we’ll be checking into a place with better value and fewer throwback vibes.

Very friendly staff. The pool areas are very clean and the pool bar was my favorite thing about the hotel. The beach area could have some more lounges or a variety of lounges and hammocks.

They have only 1 restaurant is not enough for all the people, food was not tasty same everyday !!! Presentation on food is horrible The worse snack area !!!! every day the same hotdogs and plain hamburgers Location is great unfortunately the food is making this hotel cheap and unpleasant 🙄 I’m never coming back to this hotel disappointed about this property

its a family place to stay rooms are ok and nothing special. a lil out dated but for the price its good. we only got breakfast with our stay and there was only one different dish everyday, other than that everything else is the same every day. theres many walking restaurants close by. they have nice kids pools with slides that was fun for them but pools need to be cleaned better cause water looks dirty and ur swim gear will smell bad. they have entertainment every day starting around 9pm which was fun. Would i stay here again...... just adults i dont think so, with kids maaaaaybeee.

It was a great hotel with walking amenities. Beachfront, great pool, food was incredible for the price,live music,courteous staff. I disliked the pool hours 9pm is a bit early especially with the heat. I would definitely stay here again overall.

I like pretty much everything about this place, nice and clean with the stuff going the extra mile trying to help me, the one thing that I encounter was that out of the two elevators only one of them was working and sometimes it would take longer or it would get full quickly, other than that I would definitely stay there again…
