The hotel felt a little sad, mattresses were old and deformed, everything in the bedroom felt a little old. The hotel itself is up a hill, which makes it far from the town even though it doesn't look like it. Staff didn't know which restaurants were open, breakfast was super basic and the TV was loud enough that I couldn't hear my music over Fox News' lies. Good stopping point I guess.
Room was okay at first glance. But the finger nail clippings on the floor in the corners of the bathroom and the random flaming hot Cheetos that were on the carpet around the bed makes me believe that the hotels vacuum and broom might be broken??? The room and the halls on the 3rd floor was ice cold upon arriving so any germs that may have or more than likely HAD NOT been cleaned should have been chilled to death. Other than that the stay was okay, it was a place to rest our heads and it was quiet.
Didn't eat breakfast, got up too late, found dirt under the headboard area, the toilets are too close to the floor and the hotel was very short on staff. GM was friendly and helpful when needed.
First with the good: the bed was so incredibly comfortable I slept soooo good. It was a quick stop on a road trip and for $50 it was adequate. I was a little nervous because when I went in the lobby and in the halls it smelled strongly like weed. But the room did not. The lights next to the bed on one side didnât work. But the breakfast was good and the dining area was very very clean. Staff was pleasant and the stay was quiet.
Carpeting and furniture stained, burn marks in chair, found a pill on the floor in a corner. Cold shower in the morning. The room was worn out and dirty
Smelled like weed, and twice during the night people tried to unlock our room. One person was actually able to unlock our door but left once we asked what they wanted. No staff member would answer the phone when we called multiple times throughout the night.
It would probably be logical to mount the TVs to the wall and get rid of the 90s 80s style couches and nightstands but other than that itâs pretty good. There was hard water stains in the bathroom who stayed in the suite but all in all it was pretty nice for a one night for New Yearâs.
Great pet friendly option. The room was quite decent, especially for the price. No weird smells like some pet friendly rooms Iâve stayed in. Good outdoor space to take your pet for a walk or bathroom break.
Check-in was awkward. I didnât have to sign the usual paper and wasnât given any instruction on how to get to my room. Which wasnât a big deal but I didnât even have a comforter on either of the beds. The room was dirty. Dead flies in the window sill. The amount of black dirt I wiped from the upper ledge of the shower seriously ruined the rag and the remote didnât work on the tv.
