Lovely hotel . We had a great stay, albeit it was only the one night . Our room was large with an extremely comfortable bed , I do feel that the bathroom needs some attention it is very dated and our sink was cracked. Appreciated the little touches like the pantry , where there were snacks and hot and cold drinks . Would recommend

Relaxing Comfortable Great Accommodation

Fabulous place for a get away. We were looking for some place close to the Mt Washington Cog Railway trip. This was perfect! Loved the atmosphere of The Wentworth. The staff goes above & beyond to make your stay a terrific one. We also enjoyed going to the Alpine & having a beverage & a light dinner. The food was delicious!

The property is beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous. The bartenders, Leon and Ben, were terrific and very pleasant to talk with. The dining room was horrible. Waited for over 20 minutes to be seated for breakfast, so we finally just sat at a table. No one came over to us, so I got up, got some water and coffee for my husband and me. Finally, a waitress saw me doing this on my own and came over and was disturbed that I was doing this. She was very nice after that interaction. The night crew in the dining room was awful. The hostess was horrible. Again, we waited over 20 minutes to get seated. He seemed out of it and did not know what he was doing. Sat us down and told us Scott was our waiter. Well!!!! We waited over 30 minutes until I asked another waiter if someone would ever come to our table. Needless to say, this was nothing that my husband and I have ever experienced. The food was not good at all. I think you need to clean house and get better staff and a cook!

Wonderful anniversary get away

We come every year for our wedding anniversary. We always feel very spoiled there! Everyone is kind and helpful. We were disappointed the pool was not open as it was hot out and was open the previous year. Our bathroom floor was dingy and the shower clogged, but otherwise a lovely stay. The food was incredible.

Very beautiful and charming hotel. The rooms and bathroom are very roomy. Everything was spoteless. The hotel is right next to the Jackson falls and it’s very beautiful there. I would stay again.

It's a beautiful historic building with very tastefully designed and sophisticated public interior spaces. In addition, the scene at the bar and lounge, including the spaces and the happy crowd were pitch-perfect. Our only issues were with the restaurant (the 1869 Room) and the tiny sink in our single room. The 1869 Room isn't well designed, especially when compared to the lobby, bar, and lounge spaces. The overhead lighting is too high (the chandeliers look like they were selected by a different designer than the rest of the spaces) and the white walls don't help. In addition, the food is so-so. The menu might be too ambitious for the size of the staff. As a result the salmon was overcooked and dishes with multiple ingredients did not present well nor taste fresh out of the kitchen. We'll definitely return to the hotel, but will eat in the bar next time.

Check-in wasn't perfect but quickly amended. Wonderful suites in cottage, but renovation could be beneficial. Some age in bath tub, floors, and curtains. Beautiful property and included breakfast outstanding.

Lovely stay with great service

The hotel is beautiful and the lobby, pantry, restaurant are all very lovely. Staff is amazing, very helpful and so friendly. Breakfast was a treat. The continental selection is limited (no cheese or ham) but the hot breakfast was outstanding. The rooms are a bit older and the floors in the room were a bit odd (slanted) but overall we had a great stay and the little snacks provided in the pantry certainly was an unexpected bonus. There is so much to do in the area. We were gutted we only stayed for 2 nights!

First time guest at Wentworth and we were very impressed. Loved the location and the room was fantastic. Very spacious, bed was super comfortable, and good quiet ac working. Also appreciated the free snacks to be had that were located in the pantry.
