The unit was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. For us, an important feature was its proximity (10-12 minutes) to the Mayo Clinic, where I underwent extensive testing leading to surgery. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood with very little traffic. Zac Stites, the host, was very pleasant and easy to work with. We will definitely stay there again next time, if or when I have to spend any time at the Mayo. It suited our purposes perfectly.

Host reluctant to assist when we complained about a dirty kitchen cabinet with a very large dead cockroach in it. Facility was adequate for the price. Host skimped on towels presenting old and unmatched ones. There were NO blankets provided, just a sheet and bedspread. No help on this from host even when temperatures were 35 degrees at night. We had to buy blankets. The kitchen had nice dinnerware but hardly any eating utensils. We bought some for ourselves plus a bowl to mix food in as there were none. My first reaction upon entering the unit was how stark it looked. Nice decor on the walls but not one rug in the house. This host could have done a lot better in presenting this unit.

It worked out well for us. But I had to spend too much time at Mayo so my wife was bored.

It was certainly better than a motel. Could have used more than one hand towel and more info about restaurants and attractions nearby.

Good location

This rental is well located, walking distance to beach. Easy access as well. The unit is on lower level so we could hear people walking or moving furniture above. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and wagon were available, which was very nice. There were no spices in the kitchen though and the bed was noisy. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is in located in a safe residential neighborhood. You are just minutes from the beach…walking and it such a nice area for walking. This property is perfect for a short, quiet get away.

Grea Place

The place was great, it is exactly how it shows in pictures. Easy to find, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood felt very safe and the apartment was centrally located within a couple miles of anything you could need. We are in Jacksonville a few times a year and will look to stay here again the next time we visit.
