Loved the location and only steps to the beach! Everything was clean. Only recommend a shower or faucet outside to rinse sand off! Also there was no propane for grill and there were no king size sheets to fit the couch bed.

The pictures need to be updated. Outside patio does not look like the pictures. No pictures of second bathroom which is a tiny closet. Blinds on sliding doors missing slats. This a remodeled motel. Location is good but over priced for what you get.

Inside was clean and comfortable however, stove did not work, only a few burners worked and only on high which burned food. The vertical blinds were broken. Thermostat hard to control. Outside was messy, cushions on the furniture dirty and flat. Grill was horrible, dirty and broken.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Shore to please we will definitely book again and again I have a few recommendations number one out of place to wash your feet and body off before going inside a beautiful patio outside but definitely needs a way to rinse off the beach sand also I would add gloss to the walls for easy cleanup other than that it was very much like home we enjoyed it

This place is right on the beach and has a cute patio with a little pathway to get to the beach. It’s updated very nicely but it seems to have been done quickly and cheap, which doesn’t affect anything just small, cosmetic things. We loved it and our dog did too

Beach Getaway Trip

This weekend was to celebrate my younger sister's 50th birthday. She just wanted a weekend to spend at the beach and that is exactly what we did. The property is on the beach which was very nice. There is a nice outside sitting area which we enjoyed the first two nights. I wish it was more private with some type of divider between the other unit. We didn't utilize it the last night because of that. Overall, it was very clean close to everything we needed.

Favorite Jax beach location

This is our second time staying at this location and love it. It is right on the beach and an easy walk or quick drive to any restaurants, shops, etc. The parking is a little tight with a Suburban, but doable. As a family of 6, we all fit comfortably and enjoy or stay every time!! We will definitely be back!!!

Great rental in Jax Beach, pet friendly!!

Stayed at Shore to Please for 6 nights over Easter holiday. Great location and perfect for our family of 5 people and three dogs. Loved the location and the ability to walk through the sliding back door to the beach. Thankful for Adam, the local property manager contact, for being attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place and would for sure book again next time we want to stay on the beach in Jax.

Private dune and great ocean front

Great stay! The ocean was right out our doors. The unit is private, with large bedrooms, modern kitchen, outdoor grill. Coffee shop up 2 blocks away was a real bonus! Would have loved to be able to open the bedroom windows to feel the ocean breeze at night is my only suggestion. Would stay again!

This was my first trip to JacksonvilleBeach, and it's definitely in my top favorite beaches. Excellent for running / biking. The town has everything you need..surf shop,Publix, trader Joe's, many fabulous restaurants. Beach access every 0.1 mile means it's not crowded. This property made the trip wonderful. It looks simple from the outside, but the inside was recently renovated and had fabulous accessories. Best supply of kitchen cookware for a vrbo, plenty of paper towels, TP,small supply of high quality shampoo/conditioner/ lotion, millions of high quality towels/washcloths, good beach equipment (chair, boogie board, toys), 5 STAR HOTEL QUALITY COMFORTABLE bedding and many pillows, serene and simple decor, complimentary hulu . SEEING THE SUNRISE OVER THE OCEAN was amazing. PATIO was perfect! We spent so much time there. High quality sun umbrella. it was adjacent to a patio for neighboring unit but very private.2 minute walk to the beach topped off the perfect beach experience. Morning ocean, home for lunch, more beach time, sunset walks, after dark walks. ...i went with my 2 teen daughters, nice we could all come and go as we pleased. The waves in summer are not as good for surfing as winter, but even in July it never got too hot. Perfect weather! I did not use the shared laundry. The property was so well stocked i didn't need to. I definitely will go back. Communication with property manager was timely and professional. Thank you!!

Great location but...

Like others, I read the bad reviews and hoped things were handled by management once others brought it to their attention but it had not been. The cons: I never received the check-in instructions and it took me 5 emails back and forth to finally get the door code. The baseboards coming apart at the floors. No seating or places for luggage in bedrooms. We were given 4 towels for 5 people for 4 days. Never could find a remote to work one of the tvs and when I asked they told me to try to email someone local. I kept getting text messages asking me to log on to a website to pay at checkout when the trip had already been prepaid for. Clear path from back door to the beach - however we learned that it is illegal to actually use this path and had several locals yelling at us for using it - we felt misled by that. No way to wash sand off our feet before entering the condo so the sand was out of control even with our best efforts. Parking was very tight for a full-size SUV and at one point the lot was full and we could not find a spot - spots are not assigned. Downstairs bathroom was tiny, no vanity space. Tub upstairs needs replaced. Pros: Views of the beach and close location were very worth it. I was thankful someone had left a beach umbrella there (even if it was broken) so we were able to use it on the beach as we didn't have room for one in our car. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was nice and clean. With a little more attention this could be an amazing place.

I re-read reviews & felt upset that I didn't really listen to what the authors were saying. I agree with previously written reviews. When I booked, I believed in reading the owners responses, any concerns that had been posted, would have been addressed. As of June 2023, here are our observations. They need a new handy man! The baseboards have come off bedroom floors, the tub has been re-caulked more times than it should with a major crack in the bath. The beds should've been replaced long ago w/ bedding & pillows. Toilets were slow & small - that became the final straw when the provided plunger was so distorted from use & didn't work nor did the toilet. We left a day early & were happy to do so. There is a lamp in the room, but if you want to charge a watch & a phone, you'll have to go without the light. There is a flimsy glass table that won't support your luggage. You'll be digging through bags on the floor. There's a great view of the ocean from each bedroom, but not a single place to sit, unless you're in bed ALL DAY. Beach towels pictured in ad are not there. Parking is horrendous. If you have a big SUV or truck, good luck. The lot is SMALL, the markings are difficult to see, & it is NOT easy to maneuver. The motel comment was spot on. The curtains won't cover the widows or doors. The ice maker is broken, along with the shower/water access from the beach. This, with no door mat, leaves much for YOU to sweep! Wait until repairs are made here.
