For the price I guess i should not complain to much... Its a room.. There is a indo mini mart 1 minute walk which you are going to need to stop for toilet paper (15,000 for 6 rolls)
Room was not cleaned for 3 days. fresh towels left at end of walk way to help your self
There is no safe
There is no access by car only bike, i dunno why they advertised free parking because cars cannot fit down narrow alleyway
Location wise there is a bar at end of alleyway that had band playing over 3 nights there.. Walking distance to some nice restaurants and there was a market on the friday at the park near by..
Overall if u want a no frills room with air conditioning cheap.. Go for it.. But i wouldn't recommend staying here
A good, clean and cheap hotel! Nice room and good hot, powerful shower. Met the owner who was very helpful. Hotel is down a small alley off of Jalan Jaksa, 10 minutes walk from Gambir station (where you can be dropped off with a Damri bus from the airport for 40000 rupiah. Bus took 40 minutes.)
I backpack travel a lot and have stayed in a lot of hotels - I'd definitely recommend this one.
Close to Monas (National Monument) Station so it's a bonus. If you're from the airport by a taxi or grab car then they can't send you to the front door of the property because the hotel front road is narrow only motorcycle can pass through it. But if they drop you at Indomaret Jalan Jaksa you should be fine, just walk a little then the hotel is on your right.
Room and bed is OK but a little crampy. We stayed in a double single bed room. The toilet and water heater is great. The wifi for my room 202 is horrid. I have to stay outside the balcony to have the free wifi.
Don't worry about food or your toiletries because there is Indomaret(I think this is like seven eleven) and plenty of restaurant to satisfy your taste bud.
But considering the price and location, I really don't mind those tiny detail.
The hotel was okay. The room was clean but the toilet was dirty, especially the toilet bowl.
The location was ok, considering there's not much to do in Jakarta for tourists.
I'd recommend a short stay.
The staff was nice, but with the exception of 1 girl, no one spoke english, so not a lot of help here.
Nice people though!
It was not as advertised. There was no breakfast. The room/bathroom was not clean. The light did not work. The sink faucet broke and they didn't fix it. The water would shut off in the middle of my shower. This was no doubt, the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Nothing else even comes close to being this bad. The whole building smelled of smoke, because smoking is allowed in the building and in the rooms. Just plain trash.
