Overall was a pleasant stay. The view was nice and was fun seeing some animals. The inside of house was clean but the exterior needs some attention. Lots of cob webs and the yard was left looking as if unattended. Tried to sit on porch but tons of wasps kept swarming in. Would consider staying again next time in town.
Very nice location and view. it is in the sticks if that is what youâre looking for! Inside was clean and neat, outside had spider and wasp issues everywhere to the point we had to keep the kids inside. Overall a very nice cabin just needs a little outside tlc to be kid friendly
Our family of 6 stayed here for 4 nights for Easter 2025 and would gladly return. This property feels wonderfully remoteâquiet, peaceful, and secluded. During our entire stay, we didnât see or hear a single other person or vehicle.Communication with the property manager was excellent both before and during our visit. Every question we had was answered quickly and helpfully.A few notes for future travelers:- We were happy to find a washer and dryer on-site, though we hadnât seen that mentioned in the listing.- There was also a propane grill available, but I recommend confirming with the manager about the propane supply.- What caught us by surprise (compared to other rentals) was the limited supply of trash bags and dishwasher podsâsomething to plan for if you're staying multiple nights. The kitchen was reasonably well-equipped for our group of six, and the home overall was a perfect fit for a relaxing getaway. We hope to return.
This was a great home base for our Buffalo River adventures. We only stayed two nights, but it was comfortable and clean. The upstairs bedroom is enormous! We love relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, and even used the fire pit to cook hot dogs for dinner. The kitchen was very well stocked (we could have used a pair a scissors, though!). We had 9 people stay hereâ 4 adults, 2 teenagers, 3 kids. I think our favorite parts were the beautiful and peaceful views and the large gathering room the just hang out.
Such a beautiful area! Itâs challenging to drive and not look out at all of the beautiful views! This cabin is very nice! Each morning we enjoyed the hot tub located at the dawn side of the cabin. We only used the one bedroom nearest the bathroom but the mattress was very comfortable. We had excellent and immediate communication with the owner. The cabin was very clean and nicely secluded from the road and nearby homes. This cabin is centrally situated near (within 30 minutes) of several hiking trails which was the purpose of this trip. If you want Ozarks this cabin will supply!
Lovely cabin set back into the woods with great views in the heart of the Buffalo River area. We felt right at home. Good outdoor sitting for enjoying the neighborâs cows in the field, beautiful sunsets & stars. We did a lot of cooking of meals in the home, kitchen was fairly well stocked. There were a few minor maintenance issues needing to be addressed & was missing a few items that would have been helpful to have (ex: can opener). But thatâs minor stuff, overall we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Bear Creek Cabin was a fabulous! My husband and I, along with 2 of my siblings and their spouses, enjoyed the beautiful fall leaves, the magnificent elk, the melodious songbirds, and warm fires in this spacious cabin. The rooms were nice, the gathering area cozy, and the view beautiful. And when we woke to a non-functional coffee pot, the manager had us one delivered ASAP! Highly recommend this gem in the woods.
Stayed here as a way to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday with 2 other couples the 3rd weekend of Oct. The cabin and location was perfect for us. The cabin was beautiful and tucked away in a secluded area that was just as beautiful; especially with all the fall colors. Even though the cabin is secluded it is still close to lots of trails and beautiful drives.
We would go out hiking in the morning and return in the afternoon to finish off our days relaxing on the cabin deck with some drinks, grilling dinner, and capping off the evening relaxing in the hot tub.
It was perfect for our whole group and when leaving could not decide if the amazing beautiful trails and scenery we encountered on our hikes was what we enjoyed the most or just chilling afterwards at this awesome cabin/property. We decided it was a tie! :)
Also the property owner had great communication with me even though cell service for me was very spotty while out on the trails and often my texts would not get back to him much later than when received. However he was still very accommodating.
There was a water main break in the area and he contacted us right away about it and even delivered 2 cases of bottled water that was waiting outside the cabin door for us when we returned from our hike! Now that is top-notch service!
We would definitely stay at this property again. In fact I extremely hope I get the chance to stay here again!
This cabin was perfect for our stay in Arkansas. It was centrally located to everything we were wanting to do. The cabin itself was spacious and had everything we needed. The property was beautiful.
The property was off the beaten path which was amazing. Lots of space to spend time outside. Open layout was perfect for spending time together. Could use a little larger dining table. Small one and provided folding table made playing games in the evenings a little trickier.
great cabin in the woods. Close to all things buffalo river!
quiet setting, nice interior of home, hot tub, fire pit, wood burning stove and decks were wonderful. kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. absolutely loved our stay! Will definitely book here again.
It rained most of the time we were there and we lived every minute of it. We wanted to relax and recharge. The times of no rain, sitting on deck watching turkeys and cows was nice. No deer this trip. Great communication with owner. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
