Amazing, calm villa with a fantastic pool

Everything is just as shown on the pictures. Swimming pool is large and deep enough for jumping. Kitchen is well eqipped, with all the utensils you might need and a nice Delonghi coffee machine. BBQ area has an amazing chilling vibe - just put some music on, open a cold beer from a separate outdoor fridge and enjoy. If I had to find any flaws, then some people in my group complained about the mattresses being a bit stiff. TV could also use an upgrade I guess (there's one dead pixel on the screen), but there's much more better things to do while there than watching TV anyways.We were there with infants and baby cots were available. Neighborhood is also quite calm and good for walks with strollers. A lot of beautiful viewpoints are within a few kilometers. Nevertheless, car is absolutely required here, so be sure to rent something.

A beautiful property and a wonderful stay

We will always have very happy memories of our stay at Florence's lovely villa. Beautifully designed, it was magical to wake up to the fabulous pool every morning and we did a lot of reading and sunbathing on the balcony and the patio. Florence was very helpful when we experienced the electricity outage that affected all of Spain, even though there was little she could do except keep us informed, and also afterwards when our attempts to reset the wifi meant we stopped it working. Other than that everything went smoothly and I am now aiming to buy the same coffee machine which I enjoyed using.

Lovely villa in Javea

Just had a great 1 month say at this Lovely villa in very tranquil surroundings. Beautiful pool and outside space although we could not take full advantage as it was January ! This villa has everything you need for a very comfortable holiday and would be a fab location for a summer holiday when the outside space would be amazing. Javea is a great area with lots of great walks for our dog and a lots of lovely cafes for morning coffee! We had a very enjoyable stay.

Stay in beautiful villa in Jarvea

We had an absolutely glorious 2 weeks in Florence's beautifully renovated villa. Really felt we had had a holiday - despite the hell each end at the airports. The pool is big enough to properly exercise - we figured at least 25m all the way round and the pool and gardens looked after weekly. The villa is has been renovated really tastefully. Apart from 1 day of thunderstorms, the weather was lovely, and we were very sad to have to come back to all the floods and work in England! A car is needed to get around as located in the hills, but shops are a short drive, and some restaurants walkable - but beautifully located with a backdrop of natural woods and lovely walks. I could not recommend enough - if you are lucky enough to find availability - book it!

Located in a quiet residential area the villa is very peaceful and relaxing. The pool is huge and the outside areas are simply stunning. There was plenty of space for us to be social and spend time together as a family whilst also having space to relax by yourself. The villa inside and out was clean & tidy and instantly felt homely. The check in process was very clear and simple. Florence is a fantastic host who kept in communication with me throughout our booking and on arrival. She was also very contactable should we have needed anything during our stay. We were a little apprehensive about only have 1 toilet between us but honestly we had no issues at all and there were 6 adults sharing for 2 weeks! Arenal and Javea Port are a short 5-10 minute drive from the villa and there’s also a delicious Indian restaurant and an Italian restaurant both within walking distance of the villa. We had a fantastic 2 week stay here as a family, we really didn’t want to come home!

Lovely villa

Lovely villa with a beautiful outside space. Huge private pool, outside kitchen with griddle, BBQ & fridge. Well equipped kitchen & the living room with its balcony was amazing. The garden is very secure for children & dogs. You do need a car but really close to the town & loads of supermarkets. We had a great time thank you.

Our stay at the property was absolutely fantastic.. We had a few issues with the fridge and freezer which was unfortunate as we wasted quite a lot of food.. but apart from that it was great! location lovely and quiet and the pool was the highlight for us. My 9 year old spend hours in it :) Would definitely return.

Villa in peaceful location with a beautiful garden, near lovely woods.

The villa has everything you need and the owner and management company responded very fast to any questions/issues. We would stay again at this villa. The villa is in a quiet location. It backs on to a large wood with multiple paths which are great for dog walking. At the end of the road is a National park with fantastic views and multiple walking trails. There are 3 restaurants within walking distance, a beauty salon and a small grocery shop. The garden and pool are large and picturesque. The wifi was fast enough to be able to work from the villa. The aircondition works with both cool and hot air so for heating or cooling the bedrooms and they were very effective. The lounge has a pellet stove that you can turn on if needed in the cooler months. Out of the two months here we only had neighbours on one side on a couple of occasions. The garden is fenced in, secure and private. You can park your car inside the driveway behind a secure gate. We very much loved our stay and recommend this villa.

Lovely location, but a car is pretty essential

We stayed here for 2 months - February and March. The property is near the top of a long steep hill, and we did not hire a car, so shopping was expensive by taxi. Supermarket and beach is at the bottom of the hill. Lots of lovely walks round about though.

Great stay

We were really pleased with the house. The decoration is great and we particularly enjoyed the big windows in the living room, comfy sofas, well equipped kitchen and most of all beautiful garden and pool. The garden backs onto a pine forest so you feel surrounded by nature and it’s very peaceful. The pool was really big and deep, we were there in October and used it every day and it would be even better in summer. Florence was great to deal with and all communication was very prompt. She was also really flexible about check in/out times. There was a new bathroom installed in the master bedroom which was lovely. Worth noting if you have a full house that there is only one toilet (though there are two bathrooms), wasn’t a problem for us though. Lovely beaches (Granadella and Portitxol) a short drive away and a couple of restaurants in walking distance (we had a great meal at Everest 5 mins up the road). But most of all we enjoyed just being in the house and garden. My husband was working from the house and the internet worked well. We would absolutely stay again and hope to return soon. Beautiful Garden

The garden & the pool was main reason we booked, as there’s hardly any shallow end , it’s mainly deep, so for my teenage boys it was perfect. So much fun . There is a supermarket really close by , which to our surprise was always really quiet. My only criticism of the villa itself, is that the air-con units where only in the bedrooms ,so found it quite hard to be in the main part of the house ,after tea time. And the en-suite bedroom, had two single beds pushed together. And they are really noisy, with any movement. .The doors to the bedrooms were the same . The overall stay was amazing, the pool and the beautiful garden made it for us . If you need a relaxing holiday , this is it . Also the area is gorgeous, your set up in the hills. We also had a problem with the freezer. Which was sorted straight away. So any problems, you are given a number, and He’ll be straight round .Very helpful with any questions... thanks D... The car journey from Valencia Airport, was a breeze, to get to the villa, it’s a good drive . I enjoyed it , me being the passager 😊 I would definitely recommend a stay here ..

Spotless villa with fabulous south facing pool

After a bit of random searching we decided that somewhere around Javea was our next destination. We narrowed the possible villas down to ten (all on Homeaway's website). My husband made the final decision which was based on pool size. What a good choice! The pool is as big as it looks in the photos. Dave (the Orca inflatable) was waiting in the pool for us on arrival. What the information doesn't tell you is that the pool is very deep. Once I reached the narrowest part of the pool I couldn't touch the floor at all. My six foot son could stand on the bottom with his arms up and couldn't be seen. This means no fear about practising diving or silly jumps in. The garden is lovely and well tended. There is some grass maintained by a sprinkler system in the morning. Don't leave large towels on the washing line overnight or they will get wet! The villa was spotless and had everything you could need. We didn't use the BBQ as we were too lazy to want to clean it after. The main living/kitchen/dining area is very spacious. The bedrooms were of a decent size too. All of the bedroom windows had mosquito blinds which meant fresh air was still an option. There was an air conditioning unit in the living area and master bedroom. Fans were provided for the other bedrooms. There was a lot of wardrobe space if needed. We travelled light and used the washing machine and line dryer in the garden. There was an iron and ironing board but we didn't fancy ironing. The wifi was good inside the villa and worked on the loungers by the pool. The area was quiet and sometimes we forgot that there were neighbours either side. The house is in the suburbs. You do need transport as it is a few kilometres to the main town or beach. El Arenal is a gorgeous beach with everything you could need. The lovely restaurants meant that we didn't eat at the villa much. Florence, the villa's owner, has been exceptionally helpful in dealing with our queries and always very prompt in replying. If we were in the position of buying a villa, we would be asking Florence to sell it to us today. It is exactly the type of villa with pool we would choose and in a fantastic locality. The only word of warning is that there was rain in early August before we arrived leading to perfect breeding conditions for tiger mosquitoes. These pesky creatures don't wait till dusk and are about in the day. Bring your insect repellent and use the mosquito blinds.

Stayed in the Villa from the 29th March until the 28th of April.... This was a family holiday for my son who is special needs... we had a great time.. The Villa is as advertised and has great facilities... We were joined by my daughter and her boyfriend in the final week and they both commented on how nice it was particularly the garden and the pool... The Villa inside is bright and airy and more than met all our needs the beds are comfortable and we all slept well. I have been to Javea on many occasions however the first time in April the weather was good.. We enjoyed good sun and temps of 17 - 21 degrees.. The choice of restaurants is amazing and we dined out most evenings.... The owners despite living in Belgium were very accommodating and all queries were resolved promptly... Too summarize a great holiday in a great venue... would i do it again Yes!Yes !Yes!

Beautiful villa with lovely gardens and fantastic pool!

We had a fabulous 2 weeks at this villa, it was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Villa is just lovely with all amenities, but it was the pool and gardens that stole the show as we spent most of our time outside enjoying the fabulous weather and tranquillity! Javea is a great family location and although we spent most evenings down on the promenade, we really enjoyed being able to walk to the Himalayan restaurant and the exceptional Italian a little further down the road. Only thing I would suggest/expect are some basics (loo roll, hand/washing up soap, etc) being in the villa on arrival. Aside from that we can't fault it and Florence was great at ensuring you have all the necessary info when needed and very prompt with responses and deposit returns.

Lovely, quiet, private villa with big pool and garden.

Had a lovely stay, owners and hosts were all very accommodating and helpful with our few requests. Villa was clean, comfortable and spacious. Living area is modern and well thought out (although I had to properly hunt for the cutlery!!! Damn secret drawers!). Bedrooms and bathrooms were fine but not as modern as the rest of the property but perfectly comfortable. Pool has a shallower end but then get very deep. Shutters on the windows meant that I didn't need to lug blackout blinds out with us.

Beautiful 4 weeks

We have been for 4 weeks in the Villa of Florence and Alex. We had a great stay!! We always had to "extra" clean up the villas we rented before, but this time: we absolutely had nothing to do than starting directly with our holidays. The Villas Design is really nice and cool!! Big pool and nice outdoor area. Florence and Alex have been really helpful with some small problems coming up during our stay. Even though the problems were not their resposibility, they always helped and supported us immediately. Thank you so much!
