I wish we stayed longer

When I say this was the best home to stay in for our occasion it was absolutely amazing! We originally booked for 8 people but only had maybe 5 people come but the property was perfect and sooooo peaceful. The amazing host checked in everyday to make sure we were good and didn’t need anything even when we had to leave a little early she was very understanding.

Memorable Family Holiday Vacation

This property is breathtaking!!! Our family thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The professional firing range was where our family enjoyed a majority of our time! The hosting of the property was hands down the most gracious hosting we have ever experienced through a vacation rental! We were planning our second trip back to the property before we were done with our first trip! The horses, the lake, the fire pit…. This was a quiet piece of paradise. This property is Highly recommended by our family!

Wedding.. Our way on the ranch

We searched for an intimate wedding venue and decided to take another route and look at this site. We were completely happy with our choice to use the ranch. We booked 9 months ahead and they allowed us times to come look prior to and were more than accommodating to make our event the most incredible day possible. We enjoyed using the pole barn for the reception, they left us a perfect blank canvas to let our creativity take action. My vision fully came to life. The house was perfect as well.. I have no complaints and can fully recommend this for family travel.. ladies weekend.. or for us a personal intimate wedding. It’s where we began our forever and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Absolutely Beautiful!!!!!

Words cannot describe the beauty of Refuge Ranch both inside and out! The pictures do not do it justice. The hosts Katrina and Billy are just the nicest people and so accommodating. I cannot put into words how much they made sure that our family reunion / Dad (Papa)'s 80th Birthday celebration went smoothly. They did everything they could to make it special. The Refuge Ranch provided my family with beautiful views, sounds and memories that we will always cherish.

Wonderful Dirt Road Property

Arriving at the property at almost dark, it was so nice that lights were on outside and inside. It was quiet and relaxing. The back porch overlooking the pond/lake was a big favorite. More chairs on the back porch would be a plus. The whole house is beautiful and the details were immaculate. Everyone in our family really enjoyed the stay.

Even Better the Second Time

We had stayed at Refuge Ranch this past Christmas (2022) and thoroughly enjoyed the property and all the amenities. I can’t say enough about how great Katrina and her brother were. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Fast forward to our second stay, we were in town due to a death in the family. Again Katrina and her brother could not have been more accommodating. In addition to the cleanliness and comfort of the home Katrina was sympathetic to our reason for being in town and even allowed us to have additional family members (who were staying elsewhere) come to the ranch just to hang out. How accommodating is that?! She went above and beyond any host we have experienced. I would definitely stay at Refuge Ranch again and would highly recommend the property to anyone. Thank you again Katrina for all you did for us, we won’t ever forget.

First of all the owners of this property are the best, they have went above and beyond to accommodate us and our family. This house is gorgeous and the property was so pretty with the fall leaves. This property and house was better than described in the listing. The kitchen is very well equipped. They had provided everything we could have possibly needed. Our son got married in the area and this house was our home away from home for the weekend. We highly recommend this property for a fabulous getaway. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Truly a refuge!

Wow! Our 2nd time here on this property and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! 1st time was in the winter when we hung out by the camp fire 🔥 and out 2nd visit in the summer when we hung out by the lake. We have some great family memories here…. We felt very welcomed by our host and the hospitality was beyond our expectations. Thank you for making us feel as we were at home. :-)

Best Kept Secret in Locust Grove/Jackson, GA. I have been coming to this area for 33 years to visit my wife’s family and this is the best lodging we have had. The check in process was a breeze. We just entered the code that they gave and the door opened right up. The house was just recently renovated and everything looked brand new. There was new lighting (including ceiling fans), wall fixtures, furniture, and flooring throughout the ranch. The house was amply stocked with drinks, snacks, and coffee. There were all of the silverware, plates and cookware that we needed. Toiletries, towels, and cleaning supplies were all furnished. Refuge Ranch also has a laundry room with a new washer and dryer. This room comes equipped with washing detergent, iron, ironing board, and a rack to hang your clothes. At no additional cost we have full access to the grill, the fire pit, kayaks, and the motorized boat. The lake that sits on the property is unbelievably gorgeous. They are Premier Hosts; replying promptly to my messages before during and after our stay. Their ranch and my experience was most definitely a five star. I do recommend this ranch. My family and I will be back.

Awesome weekend get away!

What a great place to stay! We (grandparents, two sons, two grandkids, and our pup) loved the property, the pond and fishing, the kayaks, the decor, the master shower and the VERY comfortable beds. We appreciated the in-person visit and informative tour of the property and the attention to details such as the coffee bar, fruit, water, and shower products. We did not want to leave! Next time we will try to stay longer!
