Great spot!

We stayed 3 days for our daughter’s wedding. This place was a nice jumping off spot. It’s close to everything, very clean, and well-stocked. Beautiful views. I would definitely stay here again if out this way. The listing is very accurate.

Some issues, overall okay

Really cute house and great location… just several issues. When I arrived (30 min after check in time) there were several maintenance and cleaning people there, trying to remedy a sewage overflowing broken toilet. They cleaned up well, but it ended up being still broken and unusable, thus we were down to one toilet. No communication from Host prior to arrival about this. The ice and water dispenser in the fridge was broken and that was annoying. Had to go buy that. The door to the bedroom was ill fitting and woke the whole house up when opened or closed. The glass shower door didn’t close properly and felt like it would break when opening/closing. The propane for the fire pit was empty. Good location. Comfy beds. Clean. Cute decor. Well equipped kitchen. Just issues that need to be resolved.

Perfect desert getaway!

Fantastic stay - again!!

This is our second time staying at the horizon house as a family of five (kids are 6, 14 and 16), and we love the house! Lots of open space, great views outside, super central to everything!! We can’t wait to stay again!!

Peaceful, beautiful home close to town and park

This house was perfect for our family of 4 plus grandma. We had more than enough space and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and of the sunrise and sunset over the desert. The hot tub overlooking Joshua trees and other desert flora was a huge hit. Also very convenient location, just a few minutes from downtown and from the park entrance. Would definitely stay again!

We were in the area for our son's wedding at Joshua Tree and this house was the perfect home base for us. Everything we needed was close by and the house was very comfortable. Easy to get to and from Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay

Perfect place for a weekend with friends. Very clean and comfortable, well stocked kitchen, A/C, jacuzzi and fire pit were easy to use. The best part was lounging around in the back where there's gorgeous native plants and a lot of wildlife appear -- quails, rabbits, chipmunks, hawks & lots of other birds. Super close to the park and the main road, management was very friendly and responsive in their emails. I would love to stay here again!

Will definitely stay here again

This property was so much more than I imagined. The photos from the listing don’t do it justice. The master bedroom and bathroom are huge and quite lovely. We were a family of 7 and had plenty of room in the house. The back and front yard are peaceful areas to relax and listen to nature. The property was near the National Park and we are already talking about our next visit. We will definitely book this property again.

Just what we needed

This property was very convenient for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. My family enjoyed our stay, and it was an excellent place to come back to after hiking all day. It has a beautiful yard where we saw Hummingbirds and tons of other wildlife. Was a little hard to find when we arrived very late since the street sings are short and the road is sandy, but it was well lit and welcoming when we arrived. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We would happily stay again.

Beautiful Home and Ideal Location

My family of four including my 11-year-old and my 17-year-old stayed at this spacious and beautiful home. The gardens are so lovely, and it was a very convenient location for heading into town and also for driving into Joshua Tree. We would definitely stay here again. One thing to note though is that the dishwasher soap container was not opening reliably, so you may need to hand wash depending on when this gets repaired. It wasn't a big issue for us. Communication with the property management was friendly, prompt and reliable.

Amazing stay in Joshua Tree!!

Our family of 5 (kids ages 5, 13 and 15) LOVED our stay at this awesome property! More then enough room, we loved the living room/kitchen layout making it super easy to all be together while making meals, and the hot tub and fire pit were the definite hits!! Great location - about 10-15 minutes to the park entrance. And one of my favorite things was the very easy check out process!! IMO it is such a bummer when there is a lengthy list of things to do before leaving a VRBO and having that be the final “taste in your mouth”, but the check out process for this home was VERY minimal and I was so grateful!!! We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Great house!

Super cute and can't beat the location!

What a great home, very comfortable with fun decorations. Loved the record player and albums selection. Comfortable amenities, spacious kitchen, wonderful sunrise and sunset views from yard, and can't beat the location so close to the park. Would definitely stay there again. We had 5 adults stay with plenty of room.

Perfect Quiet Getaway for A Small Group

We celebrated a family event with a small group of 7, and this was a wonderful spot. The kitchen is well-equipped, there's plenty of room for eating together inside or out, and there's room to spread out, as well. The property feels very private and the neighborhood was quiet. Watching the stars from the outside patio and hot tub was probably the best part of our experience. We had a little trouble with the hot tub one day (our error) and the property manager was immediately responsive, which was great. We would definitely return.
