A/C had an issue - the thermostat said call for service - Struggled to keep up and house was uncomfortably warm in August in Florida. First Night we could barely sleep. We called the host multiple times, and kept being told that the owner of the property (different from the managing host) wanted to handle this through their AC guy and nothing they could do. They said we had the AC set wrong to auto which wasn't true (we had photos). The thermostat clearly showed it had an issue, and the air blowing out of the vents was just slightly cooler than outside. We kept lowering the temp setting on the thermostat but it took days and a bunch of rain to cool down the house. Nothing was done about this to attempt to rectify the situation. Our 5 years old son kept asking to go back home at bedtime and saying he can't sleep because it's so hot. If it weren't for that, I would rate this place 5 stars. If you're considering this property, make sure it's not in the summer. The property is nicely furnished and well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, lots of towels provided, as well as anything you would need for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, even 2 bicycles). There's a washer and dryer and they include complimentary detergent.The bathrooms are small but perfect for a vacation, and having 2 bathrooms is always nice. Location is great, it's a very short walk to a semi private beach with a shower. Close to multiple grocery stores, close to the pier, and to a fair amount of restaurants.
