The view from the Lani is fabulous with incredible sunsets nearly every night. It is also shaded in the morning, which makes for delightful morning coffee and reading.The apartment is well-equipped and spacious.

Fantastic studio with a view that pictures don’t really do justice. The actual lanai view was much better in both of our opinions! There are numerous pools to choose from in a very well maintained property. Having Dukes restaurant on-site is an added plus. Hula Pie anyone??? Honua Kai is located in a perfect spot at the north end of the Kaanapali Beach boardwalk. I am not sure you can find too many beaches to take a morning walk that rival this one.The studio is stocked with bathroom basics and very well stocked with kitchen needs. Not sure if I have ever stayed anywhere that had a whole bean coffee grinder! There were 4 beach chairs, nice sun umbrella, coolers and one more thing in the closet that I did not open!I don’t think we were on the property more than an hour when my wife proclaimed we are not staying anywhere else when we visit Maui. It also did not hurt that my wife is an animal lover and there are numerous “domesticated feral” cats all up and down the boardwalk that are very well cared for!Definitely recommend and hope to stay here in the future!

I can't say enough about how wonderful this trip was for us. Roger and his wife were amazingly helpful and such hospitable hosts. We had an hour long conversation the morning after we booked and they had so many tips and answered all my questions. This was our first trip to Maui and could not of been more perfect. The Honua Kai property was beautiful and very well taken care of. You can't beat the views, the beautiful beach, so many pool options and spacious manicured grounds. The condo was incredibly clean, updated and fully stocked with everything you could need. the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Having the washer and drier was such a bonus. Went home with minimal dirties! We love starting our morning and ending our evening sitting on the lanai. Being set back from the pools made it fairly quiet but you did not lose the amazing ocean views. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we can't wait to come back!

Homua Kai is a beautiful resort. This unit had a lovely ocean view and was sufficiently spacious for 2 guests with option for 4.The host, Roger, was very attentive and instructions were thorough and seamless. Great stay!

Perfect Choice

The property was exactly what my wife and I needed for our honeymoon. It was stocked with all of the essentials, had the perfect view, was incredibly clean and organized, and the in unit laundry was a huge bonus.If we’re ever lucky enough to go back to Maui this space would be the first place we look for accommodations again

The condo was wonderful! And perfect for our needs. We really enjoyed the surroundings as well, the beach and pool were beautiful. The kitchen was a good size for two people. The parking was easy and convenient. Having lots of restaurants and food trucks nearby was great as well! Roger, the host was super helpful and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this stay!

This property was so cute and had a great location. You can see the ocean while laying in bed. My family stayed at a different location and my brother said if they ever come back they will try and request this place over the place they had booked. I can’t wait to go back!

Live for these views!

What an amazing view! We loved watching the flaps and tail flips from the whales while we sipped our morning coffee from the lanai!Roger made sure the condo had everything our family of 3 needed, and my son said the pull out was super comfy! The resort amenities/pools are wonderful, with amazing snorkeling right there from the beach!We'd love to return sooner than later! Thank you!

Wonderful View and Host

We visit the islands on a regular basis. Roger stands out as on the of better hosts we have encountered. The month before our visit, Roger called to see exactly when we were leaving as he had a couple of days in-between guests. When I mentioned that we had a red eye, he immediately offered to let us stay in the condo until the evening. Incredibly helpful.The view from the lanai allows for a view of the sunset and whale watching. We watched the whales while eating breakfast each morning.The kitchen is fully outfitted leaving us wanting for nothing. Near the back entrance to the resort is a parking lot with a full contingent of food trucks, something for everyone.Thank you Roger for making our time in Hawaii easy and relaxing.

Anniversary getaway

We had a wonderful stay in Roger’s unit at Honua Kai! It was perfect for our stay in Maui celebrating our 30th anniversary! Roger was great and easy to communicate with on any questions or info regarding the condo or Honua Kai in general. The unit was nicely stocked with everything we needed and some. Family getaway with infant

My husband, 4 month old daughter and I had a wonderful time in Roger’s beautiful condo. The space has everything you need for a comfortable stay—fully stocked kitchen, coolers for grocery shopping, a pack and play for a baby, and is much more. The bed is comfy, view is great, the resort amenities are super, and there is an amazing fish shop down the road. We loved staying here!
