Lots of nice things to say and a few suggestions. Let's start with those and then get to the good stuff.
Suggestions:
*The owners really need to invest in a plunger instead of me having to run to the front desk only to be told there was nothing they could do as I would need to speak to the rental management company
*Housekeeping, between stays, really need stock the place with tissues, paper towels, and napkins. We ran out of all three and had to buy some at the store
*We left some bananas out on the counter and woke up to find lots of ants. Put all food in the fridge.
*If you have a car, unless you get back to the property by 7 or 730p, forget about finding a parking spot and plan to use your parallel parking skills on the street and have a bit of a walk
*If you have any issues with this unit, the front desk is adamant that you must contact rental management company. They want nothing to do with you except to take your resort fee and give you the keycards.
*There is a reason there is no picture of the shower/toilet area as it's not dirty in any way, BUT it is dingy and old. There is no door for the shower and as a result the shower head only is available in mist mode
Now for all the good (in no particular order)
*In the "tower" building (4 floors) and very close to lobby
*Bed and pillows very comfortable
*Air conditioning and ceiling fan worked great
*Good Wifi once you connect
*Well stocked kitchen and good ice maker
*Lots of storage space (a few more hangers would not hurt)
*All picture posted online are just what it really looks like (including beach/pool shots)
*Nice patio with privacy separators between others (this place is on the ground level) that looks onto nice grass area
*Great Tommy Bahama beach chairs (they have storage, a cooler, straps to carry on you back, etc.), umbrella that screws into the sand, beach mat, and 1 boogie board
*Good, but showing its age furniture
*Fantastic beach just a few minutes walk...no rocks, seaweed, creepy fish....although the water is a bit chilly
*Very nice and well kept grounds on the property (the property itself is certainly showing its age, but don't let that disuade you)
*Nice lunch (or dinner) place called Castaway Cafe right by the pool. Not too pricey
*Lovely pool area (bath water temperature) and small hot tub
*Lots of extra towels and wash cloths in bathroom
*Easy to get fresh beach towels each day at the front desk.
We enjoyed our stay and will be back!!
