Air conditioning was broken long before our arrival
We were notified that air conditioning in the unit was broken only when we were in the airplane en route to the property. We later learned that this was not a recent development and that parts were on back order long before we were notified. Portable a/c units were brought in but weren’t effective. A technicality in the contract says because of the remote location, management isn’t response for mechanical failure. When we requested a credit to reflect the fact that we were living in a sauna, we were refused. We requested a late checkout. After complaining, they agreed but mentioned that this would cost them one day of rental income. THIS PROVES THAT THEY ONCE AGAIN INTENDED TO RENT THE UNIT KNOWING ThE A/C WAS BROKEN. DO YOU THINK THEY INTEND TO NOTIFY THE NEXT RENTERS OF THE BROKEN A/C OR PULL THE SAME STUNT ON THE NEXT RENTERS, UTILIZING THE SAME FINE PRINT TECHNICALITY THAT WAS USED ON US?
