The park is ok to stay for a few days, this was a few daysâ relaxing time after visiting France and Germany. Overall the park is acceptable but nothing special. The pool area is rather hectic - there is a distinct lack of pool chairs / sunbeds outside. If youâre not there early in the day to grab one of approx 15-20 chairs / beds, forget it - you end up lying on your towel on the grass. We attended a âpool partyâ for the kids on an evening. The pool ended up being overcrowded and unsafe practices were evident - multiple kids âdive bombingâ with little regard for their safety and that of others.
Half of the âSandsâ cafe seating area is self-service / half is table service. This isnât made clear. I waited a very long time to get served - but ended up walking away and going out with my family for dinner in the car to a nearby village instead.
The âcabinsâ are clean and comfortable however, but our A/C remote had a missing battery and the BBQ did not work. Thatâs disappointing as staff should check facilities are in working order, prior to checking in. The combi oven was also difficult to use, with no instructions.
Overall an alright stay for a few days but ânothing to write home about.â Rather expensive for the facilities on offer at Eur 700 for 4 nights. I feel you can have better value elsewhere.
