Hotel is 4 mins walk from kanazawa station. Located near railway and we was allocated to beside railway, spund proof not good so can hear the little noise. Room is spacious and clean. Water pressure very good. Coffee, juice and amenities are provided at lobby. Everything is good except the breakfast is limited selection, we was having the same foods for 5 days. Hotel may consider change the menus alternate days.

Convenient location for taking short day trips

Daiwa Roynet Hotel was conveniently located next to the main train station, where my husband and I could easily walk to meet our day trip guide. We took 2-3 short day trips, so being able to walk to the meeting point without having to get up early and taking a cab to the train station was a big plus.

When the words “great hotel” are used, they suggest this place. Our experience was pleasant from beginning to end, starting with a comfortable space to put ourselves in until it was check-in time to the surprise of a room that had more space than we expected, with all the amenities that one could want—to say nothing of the special treats of a bed that was actually comfortable and a breakfast the following morning as a good start to the day (the choices here are more Japanese than Western, so if you are hankering for a bowl of cereal, you’ll be out of luck, but there are plenty of other choices!). If anything cropped up that required special attention on the part of staff, they responded with interest, equanimity, and efficiency. One of the staff went the extra mile to walk us through the check-in process—which was via machine (apparently the thing here in Japan, since we have encountered it virtually everywhere we have stayed)—his going-the-extra-mile effort was much appreciated!! On a scale from 1 to 10, this place is a definite 10. If you can get an accommodation here, grab if!
