They said they had a bar there. Well after I already paid for the room . I was expecting a bar and coffee all day when needed. Well that didnât happen either. The room I was given âSTUNKâ also. Other than that I had a nice stay. It was quieter than most motels Iâve been at.
The hotel is saturated in marijuana odor.
I had to use bathroom tissue to seal the door so that I could sleep.
My wife told the receptionist about it but no room change was possible. Nothing could be done. Thus, I had to figure out a way to reduce the odor. It gave me a bad headache.
The room is very dark and old too. Furniture and the walls are old. No shampoo. We have to buy our own shampoo. First time that I stayed in a hotel with that terrible condition.
Convenient location to our activities in North Kansas City.
There was a "computer issue" finding our booking after 9 that night which delayed our check-in.
Generic off smells in the hall and room. Crumbs on the floor. Low quality bedding.
The lobby and most of the long hallway leading to our room, which was in the back of the hotel, had a strong wet mildew oder. Most of the hotel smelled like cigarettes even though there were multiple no smoking signs. The inside of the rooms mini fridge was dirty, syrup like light brown spots on the walls, and dirty outlets of light switches. Im a 36 yr old man and if I was by myself I really would care, but I was in town for a UFC even with my15yr old son and would have liked if he felt a little more comfortable there. Definitely would not bring the wife and rest of the kids.
the 1st room stank like cigarettes, grease or dirt. I requested room changed, staff was very cordial and attentive in my request. Next room did not have the smell as stringly. However, the smell all the way through the floor was invading and penetrating. I had to buy a diffuser just to get through the night.
The whole building smelled like weed. The room was filthy, dingy towels, stained sheets, mold in the bathroom and inside the drawers. There were stains & specks on the wall that looked like blood. Curtains had unknown poo-looking stains. Beds were not queen sized, they were full. Tv was small. They advertise coffee being available 24/7 which is a lie. There was sewage water running through the parking lot creating poo puddles. Pillows were old, worn out, and flat as a pancake. I will NEVER stay here again and definitely DO NOT recommend.
First thing I check for is bed bugs. No evidence was found so we stayed. This location was 200 less than staying near the plaza. Served our purpose for sleeping. Staff was Great. A employee came in right away to set the TV up. Bathroom door did not close. If you need a place to sleep at night because you are out all day this place will do. Bonus was a great hamburger place within a couple blocks on same side of street. Everyone seemed friendly. Garbage cans outside were overfilling all 3 days we were there
Itâs a great little hotel for either long-term or short-term stays. Great location, Comfy beds, clean rooms, and a great rate. Itâs my new go-to spot on my regular visits to the city.
As soon as you enter the hotel it smells like cigarettes. The rooms smell awful as if everything were old, the sheets look dirty as if they hadn't been washed. There was no soap or shampoo to bathe, we had to go buy some and we also bought an air freshener to put in the room because it smells awful. It's not a good place for a family or children, I don't recommend it.
