Honest Opinion
Went to help my sister fix up her house and needed a cheap place to sleep for two days.
Pluses: Cheaper than other area hotels
Fairly Clean
Plenty of close restaurants
Internet-WIFI- works well
They allow pets. $20 a night fee.
Minuses: All doors locked, even to get to the front desk. You have to call to get someone to open the door.
Extremely dated- no updates since 1940. May be a slight exaggeration but not to far off
No breakfast. And the coffee that is supposed to be in the lobby? Non-existent.
Have to drive through 2 other properties parking lot to get to the hotel lot. Just be careful of the potholes.
The mattress has to older than the hotel. Seriously, it saw better days 10 years ago.
They make you pay cash for the pet fee. Don't have it? They have an ATM that charges you $3.99 to use it in the lobby.
No pool, exercise rooms, or any sort of extras.
Water in the sink works, but it acts like it is partially blocked.
In the end, it served my purpose as a place to lay my head. Definitely one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, and will not again unless there is absolutely nowhere else to turn. The guy who runs it is nice enough, but it seriously needs upgraded in the worst way. I get it, that cost money, but there is potential there if they would just invest.
