I had a very comfortable stay. The place is decorated nicely, the beds are comfortable, and itâs located in a great neighborhood but still quiet. (There is construction across the street but I couldnât really hear it. Itâs also far from the bedrooms so my sleep was not impacted at all.) Additional pluses: ample parking in back and blackout curtains.
Stayed with family and our pup. Loved the location and scoping out the neighborhood. Good eateries right around the corner (Q39 BBQ 3 minutes away). The space was very clean and comfortable. Construction happening across the street, but we were out during the day. Would definitely stay again.
I was a little skeptical of the neighborhood at first, but it turned out to be a very nice area. A lot of things to do close by. I gave a five star rating despite the bathroom being less than clean because had I let the management know I believe they wouldâve fixed it. Communication with management was very good. They checked in to see if I needed anything and were available our entire stay. if you choose this unit, I would also suggest driving a smaller car if possible- parking was a little bit difficult for me driving a Yukon XL. We would definitely stay here again!
My sister was having lung cancer at KU Hospital on Cambridge. Great location for us, Also close to West Port and the Plaza in K. C. Very nice and clean. Perfect for us walk to hospital or walk to plenty of places to eat/shop. One drawback was the thermostat set it for 72 and it did some strange things mostly freezing us which was better than the alternative because it was hot outside. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Fantastic 5-star stay in the lovely 39th District!
The property was clean and well prepared for our stay! The ability to bring our pup with us was an amazing perk and the house is well suited for pets. We had everything we needed and Lance was excellent about communication leading up to and during our stay. This lovely spot left nothing to be desired. We'll definitely be back!
The duplex was nicely decorated, and the beds were comfy. The bathroom vent needs updating. We didn't use the table and chairs. They were unappealing as the chairs looked as though someone had splashed bleach on them. My husband had to scrub the coffeepot before using it because it was dirty, and the bedspread on one of the beds had a spot on it. The access to parking in the back was narrow and not easily navigated with our full-size truck. I give the host 5 stars but the property only 4.
This little duplex was perfect for our Kansas City stay. I loved the neighborhood and all the great restaurants and shops near by. Lance put a lot of thought into making our stay comfortable and provided many basic necessities that a lot of hosts donât think of.
Simple and easy to find while checking in was a breeze. The location was perfect with walking distance to the 39th St shops/food and a short drive to the union station/WW1 museum.
We came into town to participate in a wedding. The rehearsal dinner and wedding were within 10 minutes. The location was great and we enjoyed walking to bars and restaurants in the area. The area was not noisy and easily accessible from the interstate. Plenty of room for 3.
Advise to back into parking space, otherwise could not get out as neighbor had teo cars one which blocked.
TV needed password; didnât have but old tv shows came in clearly. Fun
Walking distance to a few places ok.
Loved easy access for old doggie.
Loved washer and drier option.
Comfy.
The place was very homey and very clean. Beds were soft and house was central to bars and restaurants. I will say, if you are renting in this area early in the week most if not all bars and restaurants that are within walking distance were operating on limited hours; we had to drive everywhere we wanted to go.
I did no research about the neighborhood when I selected this location, but it's within walking distance of a lot of great shops, restaurants, and bars. We were in town for a concert, but besides driving to the venue, we were able to walk to most of our entertainment for the stay. It was also a very cute house. :)
