Hotel experience

I am so disappointed and thankful at the same time. Check in was great the light skinned lady with curly hair helped out. I originally booked a smoking room and once I arrived at the hotel she informed me that the hotel was under renovation and that all smoking rooms were no longer available. That was cool. Then after staying a day or so, we discover roaches... wowzer.... so i go to the front desk. And yes i took pictures and explain my concern, well this worker she said its nothing she can do but leave the manager a note for the morning. Okay whatever but she could have switched me rooms but i agreed to wait until the morning. So check out time i go to the desk and express my concern not realizing the manager was standing there also just to say well we have been looking for another exterminator company because the one they have had for 11 months or years (i cant recall the exact time frame) isn't working. Bananas.... We just have to do better and care as a whole

Both of the doors to the room had broken off safety locks, breakfast was okay, entire building smelled of pot even though no smoking signs were posted everywhere on site. The price was right and it was close to Arrowhead!

The beds were horrible. The front desk staff was rude and lazy. We checked in at midnight the lady at the desk said we needed 100.00 cash for a fee for booking with a 3rd party. For 1 who carries cash nowadays. 2 the way she said it oh yeah you can use the ATM around the corner. Then the next day checking out stood at the desk 30 minutes with multiple other families to check out. Asked multiple people where the front desk person was. Nobody seemed to know. Then when she finally did show up, she told us the girl before she should’ve never charged us the hundred dollars cash. I think people there need customer service training and everybody needs to know what the heck is going on.

Peeling wallpaper, scuffed paint, The worst breakfast I think I have ever stayed at a hotel! Will never stay at this hotel again!! Spent 115$ for 2 nights, then went one night at endeavor hotel in Topeka and spent 95$ for one night and was so incredibly better !!! Better breakfast cleaner, more accommodating, everything!!!

Don’t Stay Here

The lobby smelled strongly of marijuana. There were not any linens on the bed at check in. The lady at the front desk brought us the only comforter they had but had to take it back to finish drying. The comforter had multiple tears. The shower had a hole in the wall, we kept the shower curtain closed while using the restroom and did not shower during our overnight stay, felt creepy with that hole. The handle to flush the toilet fell off, we managed to get to work but it kept falling off. Lady at the front desk was very nice but she was by herself and did the best she could.

Terrible Hotel

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The whole hotel smells of Marijuana even including the non smoking room. The hotel advertised a fitness center but when we asked was told it was closed. We would have picked a different hotel if we would have known that. But the main issue is the lack of basic security. For one the elevator is overdue for inspection. And our hotel door the front door leading to our room would not shut properly. I was not able to shut it, my fiancée had to shut it for me. In order to shut it he bad to lift the entire door up and close it. This is a huge safety hazard. Not to mention them leaving the front door to the hotel unlocked without someone monitoring the front desk to see who comes and goes. I cannot tell you how uneasy it made me feel. Especially with the amout of sierens we heard each night of police chasing after cars. When we talked to the front desk they smiled and stated they are aware the door does not close well but they are getting it renovated. As a hotel you owe your guests the bare minimum of basic security. The other main issue was the cleanliness of the hotel and room itself. It was disgusting. Rusty nails sticking out by the toilet, holes that you can see daylight through by the AC, dust, cobwebs, dirty spots everywhere especially on the walls, ceiling and ceiling fan. I do not believe the room was properly cleaned before we checked in due us finding a sock on the floor which did not belong to us.

I HAVE NEVER LEFT A HOTEL! My wife and I walked in our room at midnight and left after 5 minutes!!! Burn spots on bedding! Trash on the floor! Smelled terrible! Burned/chunk hole in night stand!! Black spot or cigarette ash on table....!!!! Never in a million years would I stay here! Lady at front desk was nice. Super Sketchy! Do NOT stay here!!! NEVER!!

Don’t stay here!

The front desk lady actually asked for $100 cash deposit! No where did it say that! Then told me I have 30 minutes to decide if I’m staying! I was so tired my son and I went to the room. Well the lock was missing and room was so cold! The tub couldn’t hold water. We turned up the air then the humidity kicked in! Even our bodies got wet!! The floor was wet with humidity…everything was!! Do NOT book this hotel!

Disappointed

The rooms are very musty smelling, used bars of soap in the showers. Large amounts of hair on the beds. One bed only had a sheet on it and no blanket. The staff there are kind especially the evening girl that checked us in. It seems it’s a hotel where some are fully living at the ones that do stay there are kind and don’t seem to bother anyone. The building is very outdated and needs some work and definitely a good deep clean.
